just curious, since the highest offer from shop is only 1k lower than the price that you are looking at to sell, why would you wait for months just to find a buyer who can pay you just that extra 1k more?

Cos $1,000 I can buy new Arai helmet. Also because I know shop will profit from my sales by using their sales tactic (whether genuine or not) or how transparent, I do not know. And I will not know who is the next owner. I will want to keep in touch with the new owner, so that in future I can still buy back my own bike. Like I said, this is still my all time dream bike. The 1199 didn't replace it for me.

Agree with the ducati servicing. I ride a 1100 EVO SP, after much thought I swapped to conti bike. The increase in yen was another reason
