Hi peepz~ Just got my licence yest and am interested to get an Vespa LX150. Totally no clue on what I need to know and wat's not...so would appreciate if any kind souls can help provide me with some information other than those that I've read on Piaggio site! Do let me know what I really need to lookout for, etc...and anyone who's selling a 2nd hand please let me know too. Thanks in advance! :smile:

Fuel Tank Capacity 2.5 gallons (9.5 liters)

 

Fuel consumption:

in singapore, mixed riding. will be around 23-25km/l

in ns highway 100-110km/h will be 30-31km/l

Anyone knoe where to get an old vespa for less than 1k? Preferably COE left maybe about 2-3yrs? Please PM me if y'all got any lobang k? Thanks alot guys n gals...

hey monster, you can go to Ah Joo at Ubi Road 1, Blk 3007, #01-456. the motordiam is called Jin Cheng Motor but everyone knows Ah Joo.

i bought my old vespa from there before i got my current GT200.

how much would it cost to do the following for a PX?

 

1- basic svc (EO, sparkplug)

2- tyres

3- belt

4- overhaul

 

and what's the fuel & 2t consumption like?

hi fleaz,

 

basic servicing is around $30.

For engine oil, its top up as u pump petrol.

 

tyres is around 50 each with labour.

 

for px, there's no belting de. only the modern ones have them, like lx, et8 or gt.

 

overhaul, base on parts to be replaced, shd be around a few hundred, case by case basis. By generally, px is relatively newer than classic makes, thus need not do overhaul.

I am new to vespa... used to ride Phatom..
