if u get wet cell... u mux check the battery water level regularly

if u ride till the battery is totally dry den its time to change a new 1 again

check it abt once or twice a week to make sure its ok

Try calling Piaggio Service Centre for the inventory. Tel: 6547 4466. They will advise you which bike shop has the black LX150. If there isn't any more stock in Singapore, then ask them when is the next shipment and will there be any black coming.

yeah, mitsui is the cheaper than ntuc, at least the last i checked. but i can't rem the cost.

 

by the way, anyone had any problems with a sudden vibrating sound in the front of your vespa? because the other day i was riding, and there was a vibration in the front part of my GT200 and it was quite bad. but i've no idea what was it about. then after like 3 mins, it stopped on its own.

hmm, i dun think so. I jus renewed my insuranc @ march. My old insurance was mitsui and wanted to renew with them. BUT, their quote is the highest, compared to the rest. try aig and axa. Mine is one of them.

say... wat kind of vibration? the handle bar shakes ? or suspension? or the entire front chassis?

Hi there. just a quick check. how regularly do you guys pump the tires and how much air to pump for front & back? ET8.

 

it will be a good practice to pump your tires every 2 weeks, 1 week for classi riders (with tube tires).

 

For et8, u can try front 175, rear 215.

hmm, it might be jus the internal cable which is spoilt. Shd be around $35 with labour to replace it. Ur odometer shd not be working as well.

 

If ur odo is working, then it might be a smaller problem... wire loose internally.

anyone ever tried riding a bike w bigger wheel to a smaller like vespa? any comment in term of stability.. we exclude the weight of the bike cos i think vespa bike generally easier to manage for ladies...

 

hmm, used to ride sprint (10 inch) and current GT200 (12 inch). There's already a small diff here. When turning, sprint is more responsive, thus u can "afford" to turn later. But for gt, gotta turn "a bit" quicker.

 

On the straight, not much diff, as stability is based on weight of scooter + rider. GT200 is more stable as it is 40 kg heavier.

hey thanks leonids..ive tried askin the a couple of bike shops abt the lx150,apparently PSC does not have anymore stocks for it...sigh...anyways got meself a GT200 hehe...pearl white...should be getting it by this week....one probs though,i understand dat it comes with the snakeskin printed seat,not really fond of dat..was wondering if there are any shops that can actually rewrap the seat and padding for the topcase in other colours..pplus anyone knoe how muchie the front carrier is? thanks again..

But if u really wanna change, then u can head down to jalan besar road area. Numerous shops doing rewrapping. Popular one will be eugene saddery. Near Mac.

coool...thanks for the reply...saw my bike for the first time just now..thought the bike was pearl white like wat the salesman told me but it turned out to be white instead anyway any idea if a givi box can be mounted to the existing rack on the bike..the original top-case is not in stock so will have to make do with one of my boxes at hm.. already contacted eugene saddlery on the material and colour that i want as for the rack,Tong Aik has them in stock...guess ill drop by there over the weekend...anyways looking forward to becoming one of the vespa club members..hehe

hmm, never experienced it b4. Did it reduce ur performance? or is it a matter of "vibration" only?

 

GT200 does has the tendancy of "handlebar shaking" @ a certain low speed.
