Hi,

My exhaust is rusted at certain parts and i planning to do an electrolysis to remove the rust. Are there any implication to the inner part of the exhaust? Should i use an exhaust plug to prevent the inner side from rusting further? Thanks.

thats a good idea isolating the internals...

after the elec..derust...you need something to prevent rust from starting again...

the problem is it is very hard to find very high temp paint...those used on the jet engines..

the high temp in hardwrae store cannot be used on the exhaust pipe or header.

Yup wanted to isolate it as i do not know whether inside rusty or not. So not sure if i should just dip it without isolating.

I thought those very high temp paint will do? Need very high temp primer too, but its hard to find.

Bro, after removing the whole exhaust from the water, fix it back to the bike and start the engine let the heat evaporate all the water?
