hello... guyss.. new in fazer.. me got fazer 1000.. 03... a new feeling... fast. touring.. hmm... looking for end can pipe... prefer arrow or akra... any one selling..?.....

I have bought several things online before. There are some moments that makes you feel so anxious..... worried i get conned etc etc....will the items arrived as it is.... blah blah...

 

I guess important to talk to the seller first see how sincere and fast his response is...then decide if you wanna go for it.

 

I find buying from the States is very easy as Vpost has a service that allows your sellers to send the items to an address in the US. Some sellers include "free shipping within US" and Vpost charges relatively ok (not cheap) to get your items to Singapore (30-65++ or more!!)

 

If you are looking for the Akrapovic pipe, i am looking to order soon.... and i got a good price from someone locally.... if you anyone is keen.... let me know and i try to get a better price with a MO. The order lead time is 45-60days with all paperwork needed. You just need to get an installer or you can DIY.

Can enlighten wats the diff between Gen 1 & 2. I jus bought a '06 FZ1-S.Tks

 

The Gen 1 are 2001-2005 and they are fuel carburated and of course aesthetics.

 

Gen 2 are EFI (electronic fuel injection) which are from 2006 to present.

 

What other major pointers did i leave out?? Add on.... hehehe:cheeky:

airbox mod - Let your engine breathe better

knn filter - washable. Unlimited until u decide to dump it into the washing machine.

 

Pricewise, no idea. Can check with FJT for stock ones.. think HKL/Motoworld bring in K&N

Can try the MRA or zero gravity range . Currently m using the GIVI touring shield , not bad lah , except now the wind blast is directed at my head area instead of the upper body . But its good for high speed blast along NSH whereby one can hide behind the shield .

The puig's nice, comes in two version for the gen 2 fz1; racing screen and touring screen. The racing one is a double bubble screen, about 1.5" taller than stock. The touring one is non-bubble but taller and wider, think abt 3" taller than stock In terms of wind protection, definitely the touring one is better. I still have problems hiding from the wind when I have my tankbag on and I'm not very tall. Regardless, both of them looks good. Comes in smoke, darksmoke and black. Get them at Regina.
