It's made by a brand called Clear Alternatives, and you can get it as just a tail/brake light (US$75) or with integrated turn signals (US$95), like so:

I'm thinking of the pure tail/brake light for myself.

 

Also considering clear turn signal lenses to replace the standard orange lenses. These appear to be US$20 a pair from eBay, so total US$40 for front & back.

Im goin to be e next 1 :D. Gettin a v35 soon n i will try to learn to cut through traffic. I hope e size nt as big as hepco..haha

Its quite straight forward,

- plug and play from your exisitng tailight plug

- 2 wires to tap to your current signal light wires.

 

any mechanics should be able to fix it :)

aiya jus get it if it's within your budget la... for the traffic squeezing, u will get used to it in no time de la... like me, my side panniers r permanently there... i've no issues with traffic squeezing at all... :)

Dats reali far. Hw much? Sure will kena stop TP rite? N inspection will fail. Too troublesome..can mount elsewhere instead of the normal lights?

I think the simple tail light should be easy enough to fix, but the integrated signal one will require some rewiring. But some of our pals have done it on the Gen2, I guess it shouldn't be TOO difficult. Bikeworkz has been good with installation of stuff, but I don't know if they are good with electrics as well. I would prefer to DIY if at all possible.

 

Yeah, ask around and see, the more the merrier (and cheaper! :cheeky: ). Of course, if the combined value > SG$400 we will need to pay GST, so we need to balance that against the shipping cost.

 

Are you keen on the turn signal lenses too?

@soundless : I'm guessing the 2 images are low beam & high beam? How much is the cost for this setup, all inclusive?

 

@pichudot : where are you getting your helmet from then? And what's the damage on this?
