i think i can only have mine installed on sat nite or sun... any day after that i wont be ard for 2 wks, goin to serve the country again

yo guys, i realise that my rear suspension seem to have been lower.. compare to my frenz fz6 n james one.. anyway to readjust back to normal height?

which settin u using, i'm using the stock setting of 3 for the rear susp.

think our bike cant adjust the height but only can adjust it to be soft or hard, norm is 3........

i jus chk the service manual, the spring preload at minimum is 1 (soft) and the max is 7 (hard). so if you increase the preload to above 3, ur rear shock shd feel harder hence slightly taller when u sit on it.. but i find that the stock settin of 3 is jus alrite for me for riding on our roads and that i can have 2 feet flat on the ground when stoppin...

turn the shock to harder will incease the height?

cos when ur shock is harder, it's nt easy to press down, meanin same weight but less depression. so u may feel slightly higher...anyone here who agreed to what i'm sayin

so if u set harder, u will feel slightly higher...but higher means higher centre of gravity which also means mre danger in cornerin

no doubt when it's higher, it looks nice. but trust me, the danger is greater, i learnt it the hard way when i was ridin scram, adjust until high n thought look damn fierce, but skidded when cornerin

anyway, think adjusting the preload will only make slight height difference..other solution is to modify n change the rear shocks like our counterparts in US or Europe, read that some of the had been changin to R6 shocks. but that will cost a bomb

i disagree in the more danger in cornering, the higher the cg the faster you go into corners. that is what fazer are meant to do. lower cg can only make your corning more stable.
