i jus use some sponge n the windshield to secure it there.. dun have proper mounting bolts n nuts to secure it there so might not be very firm.. anyway due to doing this, i broke one of the windshield screw... :weep:

wont the voltmeter fall out without proper brackets to secure it :cheeky:

this current should be ok lah cuz i try another way last nite by connecting one wire to the batt n tat's dun work out so i still to this setup.. :smile:

OK... jut to let you know, usually if you just tap the red wire to the ignition directly, when riding, you get max 13V... I showed Yong already cos he did it this way...

 

If you just tap directly to the battery, your voltmeter will be constantly reading the voltage even when ignition is off, thus draining your battery.

 

Thats Y I recommend have a relay so that you can measure the voltage of the battery directly when you switch on the ignition...

er.. mine is not really secure at that place cuz not using any bolts n nuts to hold.. will try it out later when i go out, see whether it will drop out while riding anot.. btw u stay pasir ris rite? white sand got any electrical store anot?

whitesand think 3rd or 4th storey gto one hardware shop... haha...

 

Let us know your riding voltage too... perhaps your bike is different from mine in terms of voltage at the ignition connector... My is Max 13V...

yup, staying in pasir ris. think pasir ris may hv hardware shop but nt alot of stuff. think there's one in century square...what u wana get there?
