Good morning

Thanks for the tips . Would check regarding the insurance and it's fine prints regarding the claims as I in tend to travel to Malaysia . sad case I'm only 27 years old

 

but one thing is that, you wouldn't be able to obtain the fine prints unless you purchase the policy from them... also, most bike shop will only give you the cover note, which doesn't includes any of the payout blah blah stuffs... if that's the way, the only way to obtain the fine prints is to obtain it directly from the insurance company that you get your policy from... or, you could make a request via your bike shop but not sure they will entertain you or not... hope they do... :)

anyway, just to share since i bought it before, Chartis insurance for bikes is giving 100% payout according to your market value if you unfortunately had your bike being stolen in boleh land, while Alliances is only giving 50%...

 

i'm not sure the rest as i never bought it before... hope these helps...

Mebbe..i dun see a significant drop in EO from e glass panel

maybe try clean up that area before start monitoring?

 

it would be good to also monitor on the EO drop too...

Tis yr im 27. My insurance last yr was ard 900++ for fzs1000..2nd party. Dat should give u a rough gauge :)

Is der any way to determine wads causin a slight leak of engine oil under e main stand without havin to leave e bike at e shop for a few days? Went to planet n e apek say need to open up e exhaust all to check. Any suggestions coz i cant live without my bike even for a day!

 

You don't have any oiler like Scott oiler installed do you? If that's not the case then I think better to leave bike for through check as I would rather few days don't have then piston jam coz no oil

which model u are riding? I m using a brakepad from Elig on my gen 2 fz1n and feels quite good. Is there any particular compound ur are looking for? Do feel free to drop me a call or msg at 94565418. For philips headlight there are some threads in the MO section where there are some sellers u can contact.

i agree wif u on the maintenance n spare parts as well as repairs wif no diff between those 2. but for me, love of riding n the bike itself overcomes any fuel consumption issues. of cos...everything has a limit, if the FC is like 5 km/l, then can tell the bike fly kite. my reference is my car, as long as any bike that i like has a FC of more than 12 km/l, i'm ok. currently my FZ1 is giving me 16-17 km/l, a lot diff wif my prev DRZ which is giving me 21-22 km/l but wat the heck, i like the power.... :thumb:

 

The fuel consumption is better than for FZ8 than FZ1.

But since maintenance and spare part prices are all the same, and if OTR cost difference is minimal...then there is really no reason to settle for 200cc less.

That 200cc might make all the difference between liking your bike to loving it.

bro, i wonder wats the reason behind the max CC limit of 800? unless u r talking abt price where like Ducati with a price fo 45k then u can say might as well buy a car....but then again, if someone loves that bike alrdy....who cares if it's 70k price tag...

I debated with my wife regarding the upgrade of 600 to 800 cc . Her view is not higher than that . Since I'm only constraint by this factor is enough to allow me to appreciate the fz8 ^^ . Would be going to HL this sat to see how high is the bike and the prices . wish me luck .

 

Hope the restriction does not have any affect for me riding and mounting the bike would be a plus factor . Really thanks and appreciate the tips u guys have been giving would keep u posted the end result
