wanted to take a short nap then wakey past midnite for petrol via 1st link. then too tired decided to carry on sleeping instead.

 

damn i'm pampering this bike more than my previous. sg petrol! just did a full tank on spc95.

 

264.2km, 42.9km (not accurate, read below) into reserve, 15.57l, 16.968kml. slightly improved. but i did not drag like i did with last 2 tanks. 90% normal riding, 10% rpm workout. consumption not light leh. range is ~305km nia.

 

reserve kick in sometime 221.3km but not really accurate as bike was not on reserve. then parked on side/mainstand. started bike reserve is triggered. after a bit of riding, petrol level stablised and indicator stopped blinking. but reserve mileage carries on ticking (according to manual will reset 5km after topping up but i didn't manage to trigger this). think somewhere 6km later then the indicator starting blinking again (which should be the real one).

 

anyway, according to specs, 18l tank, 3.4l reserve. so 14.6l main tank. so this tank i went ~1l into reserve. the tank average of 16.97kml, reserve mileage should be 247.23km. however, coming in at 221.3 (or 228) means that the reserve warning is 20-27km premature. so i would gather like my previous tank, reserve is ~4.5l or slightly more.

 

conservatively speaking for local riding, i think reserve can give ~75km of travel.

prata cafe beside my shop is open liao. price is abit upscale. but food is good IMO. Tried and tested liao...

my previous 2 rxzs is 28-32 for local and full-bore riding with range ~400km. my last fzs600 is 20-21 local riding and range 450km.

my vtec1 16L good for 300km only. And not like i open vtec on a regular basis.

have u fixed the ravtec on yr bike, i found tat it works well on FI bike, my bike is more responsive, good pick up in mid range, smoother engine break, save fuel consumption
