can anyone tell me where to get Hyosung GT125R coz i asked bike production and said dun hav that kida model

so how the f/c like for roadwin? cos for a 125cc 4 stroke comet, i would say the f/c isnt that good.. or maybe its me...

 

Well mine is now abt 28-29km/L, prev was 31-32km/L.. But surely urs is at least betta than the class 2b 2-strokes..

wah... mine is only an average of about 26-28km/L... with pillion 50-60% of times.. 50%/50% on expressway alone/pillion.. the highest i ever got is 33km/L(i believe after self skid accident, balls shrink badly, hence travel very slowly..)...

 

i heard some 2b 2strokers f/c very good if right wrist is "not heavy".. they can get about 24-26km/L, which makes me go WAH......

Get the 250cc version? Price diff is very small and slightly more power, just nice for SG roads.

not sure bro.. dun noe if S4 belly pan can mod anot.. market for this bike is very very very very limited.. now that u mention it... how about rear hugger? hmmm... I noe oversea should have loh...

scrambler headlight - i think shouldnt be a problem.... kinda depend of how creative the mech is loh... cos mine is using rxz head...

hey guys.. just went to changed my headlight bulb ytd at amk int park 2. they charged me 9 bucks for the bulb plus workmanship.

 

did i got chopped???

I have been to a few places...

 

Usually, if nothin major happen(touch lots of wood), is just changing of e.o, oil filter and spark plug... Breakdown as follow..

e.o - 1.5 litre about 30+/- (but usually buy 2 bottle and keep 0.5 at shop)

 

oil filter - 10-12

spark plug - 6~10 X 2

 

Price depends alot on what u wanna change that day..

 

I wont say u are chop yet... cos u didnt say the kinda of bulb that u change... anyway... I did change my bulb once, normal type, pay $5 for it..The mech got offer me a $10 bulb, he say is white light and can get abit hot, so i declined loh... mine is the rxz headlight kind, i see the mech change, i also find it troublesome..

 

which part of amk int park 2, pm me the shop name if not convenient to post here?

they say the bulb is those high quality ones. haha. just give them the benefit of doubt lor......

 

and how often do u changed yr spark plugs, oil filter change, e.o change and blablabla... ????

 

and mine is also the rxz head so bulb i think will be the same as yrs. thinking of changing it to those scramblers kind. but dunno where and how to get it done~~~

 

and theres also one weird problem on my bike. which is whenever the tank is abt more than half full, the fuel gauge meter always "jumpjump" up and down, sometimes it stops at the empty red line and shoots back up agn and down. thsi will happen til my tank is abt half full then the meter will then tell me the exact amt.. what do u think on this?

 

and i dun know abt the oil filter thing also.. sorry. btw whats it for?

Oh... that shop... i got some of the stuff from there.. Only becos i cant seems to find any other shop which sells comet stuff..

Other ppl say change once a month...blah blah...etc.. for me, i change my e.o(fully syn) about 4~5000km... since our e.o is about 1.5litres, i always do the following...

buy two bottles and keep the remaining(0.5litres). spent about $20+/- X 2 = $40+/-

 

ride for 4~5000km, time for changing of e.o

 

I bring the remaining 0.5litres to shop, buy 1 bottle of e.o($20),

change spark plug($6~9 X2), oil filter($10~12).. total about $50+/-

 

So its in between 2~3months for each e.o change..

I think bulb should be that much of diff...? about the scramblers headlight, havnt really got a clue about that... paiseh cant help on that..

So far, the only similar situation that i can related to yours is that the meter will move slightly up and down abit.. really abit, maybe about 1~2mm.. But never to the extend of dropping to empty and shooting up again.. I find that the fuel gauge cannt really trust. When it show "empty", i pump about 10~11litres, but on paper, our tank is 17 litres loh, the max i ever tried was 14.81litres.. Mayb it purposely show empty earlier so that we can go refuel, bearing in mind that we dun have reserve ma..

I think u refering to the air filter..? my story goes.. a few months after i got this bike, i got problem accelerating, it was so bad that the worst i cant go over 40km/h while on the expressway. Now that i think of it, the symptoms is abit like that bike cant breathe and is choking.. Another symptoms is u see a obvious drop in ur f/c. I lan lan have to use the road shoulder.. Been to 2~3 bike shops, all cant seems to tell the problems. Finally, go to Ban Hong Geok kee(i would say they are the like the "authorise" mech for Hyosung cos they got most of the parts). The mech tried my bike for awhile, and diagnose that air filter need to change.. after that, bike good to go..

 

How long have u got ur bike? I was told by the mech that the air filter need to change probably every 8~10000km...

heard is about 120+km/h accordingly to the speedometer... but, u know what they say la... speedometer not 100% accurate..
