some of the dealers out there are selling at SGD1300 to 1700....depending on the condition and the type of bracelets....

 

mine is the light folded type.......the later ones have the heavier oyster bracelet....more solid more substantial.....and closer to the modern oyster bracelet...

 

the 6694 is a manual winding watch....not auto.....just a nice rolex to start off any collection....

 

mine performs at an average +3 secs a day........which is within chronometer specs....

they r really so hot as a fashion item now........i like their large case design, the simple dial, the crown protector, the leather strap and their rich heritage....

 

maybe buy a used one is more prudent.....as the original owner had taken the first hit of depreciation.........see how lah........or maybe just save up the money haha

shock of my life , my prefer model all no stock liao :cry:

I have handled the watch during the launch in Singapore, the watch didn’t sit well on my relatively narrow/small wrist. I guess it’s because the fixed lugs design that angled to suit a broad/big wrist.

Dickson Suntec has. Explorer II white, Submariner and GMT master black.

They even have an SS Daytona black!!!!!!!!

OF course the sales person say the daytona is reserved but i think he is waiting for someone to make high offer. tempted but what will i do with my Sub and Explorer if i get the daytona? sell?

 

I'm not so into watches yet so cant bear to part with the money.

ah that angled lugs thingie...... i can understand. i ever put on a royal oak on my wrist and the same thing happened......the bracelet cant be bent beyond that angle and made the watch look weird on my wrist....

 

ok so maybe i can give up on the BB also haha. yeah good news ...save money....:smile:

that's the same one thing i dont like about the AP Royal Oak steel bracelet. i am easy with my watches and wear them on a daily basis so the idea of the bracelets being that stiff means it may be easily be damaged by my rough use.

need special attention on maintance on sub then gmt? cox sub watch is for diving use ?

 

if use sub watch for normal day activities shld b 3yr maintannce can liao rite?
