i do like hublot's rubber strap watches, elegant yet with a touch of sportiness.

Same goes for AP's .

ha reduced abit smaller...and like u said it's auto....comes with acrylic (plastic) crystal....my colleague bought one at $1800 back in 2003....now how much i oso dunno....coz now never follow omega.....frankly speaking the reduced is not that popular coz it's a little on the small side....

the prof is the exact replica of the "moonwatch"....still mechanical winding and most true to the rich heritage of the watch that went to the moon......also acrylic crystal....easier to scratch but also easily buffed out.....

i rem that time my colleague was aghast at discovering a scratch on his watch crystal......so i used toothpaste and buffed it smooth for him....:p

the date and the day-date SM....are some of the other variations of the SM theme....

if u want a chronometer....then look at the SM broadarrow......more dollars but more watch for the money.....

seems that u like chronographs......?

The Omega Speedmaster Automatic is a fairly good starters watch (plexi glass).

Fine classic looks and reliable mechanism.

It was my first "branded" watch about 10 years ago

Buff using toothpaste?? heh he I dont think so unless you have buffing equipment

mine had deep scratches on glass so I send it to the agent for polishing. Free anyway.

The professional series or Moonwatch replica is bigger is size and heavier and more expensive. I would recommedn this as one of the best starter watches better than Tag etc.....

ha ok lah....coz light light scratch.....i saw him so sad .....quickly helped him ....in the office only got toothpaste mah........finger power was sufficient to remove the scratch....

hi glaze 88 is not bad for acrylics oso ......makes my double bubble and shoei visor clean clean .............keeps my 6694 crystal smooth and bright too...

that looks like an 80s standard Oysterdate..
