the WG daytona...abit of discount which stands at 32k , last few months I checked.

Too hard too swallow, even for the material its made of, still not worth it. Can buy 1kg of gold liao .

THe SS model too overpriced liao, damn the supply and demand ..

But the nicest piece I seen is an old piece sea-dweller my fren got, 1976.

Dome face (Acrylic) , Tritum illumination... very special vintage piece.:lovestruck:

value is subjective mah......if u dun like the watch, there will never be enuff reasons to buy and own it....

if u like ....dun need reason at all.....like means like haha....

using the same comparison......luxury wallets can buy alot of leather right?.....

at least the ss daytona would appreciate in value over time......buy one 17k bike.....in no time lose money like sotong oredi.....haha

ROLEX....a crown for every achievement

Wah Lau eh Phanggy Bro....hehh heh

Luxury item is like that..It is never about its worth in weight. It's only about demand and supply. So the manufacturers keep supply controlled.

Talking about luxury items-

Imagine the Hermes birkin or Kelly bag. $15k for a leather ladies handbag.

That one I cant see any value but I got friends who still buy, not one but a few in different colors.:faint:

the amazing thing is that it was less then $10k a few years ago. HAHAHAHA

Green Sub (50th anniversary) street value now should be about $9k++

Totally same as normal Sub except green bezel, which blends in beautifully giving it quite a unique and special look.

It's hardly ever worth paying for (my Daytona Listed price is only $12k and I paid close to $18k) But Rolex is like that, you dont pay , you dont get.

The mark of a highly sought after watch. heh

wow okie thks

hmm i've been sitting on getting a rolex for a long time. guess i couldn't quite convince myself tat i am a real rolex supporter. wasn't like tat when i got my breitling and panarai. i guess some things u can make quicker decision than other.

today went walk walk.......my frenly salesperson today oso in super good mood.....

managed to handle a few nice watches....

first on the tray were the JLC reverso squadra hometime (rrp 9300) and chrono......really nice square watches...prices oso damn reasonble for a manufacture movement....very high quality finishing on the cases and movement....both can flip to reveal the cool cool movement....

he also showed me the corum 18kt rg golden bridge.......this is the first corum watch that i found really nice......fully skeleton manual wind movement......uniquely crafted totally see thru movement......and the crown is at 6 oclock...rrp is just above 40k.........very lightweight also...

also managed to see a rubber bezel ap roo.....usually this model sells out very quickly so quite lucky to see this as well....i guess it wont last too long in the display....tried on the watch but i guess i have to use the last last hole on the rubber strap......wrist too small abit difficult to wear this monster......but damn nice.....one of my fav watches....

the crown jewels of today's visit are the rm 010 and 005-fm.......ouchy ouchy my dream watch the 005-fm......super light in sandblasted ti.....oni 50+ grams.......almost like feather on the wrist.....list price 66k sia......have to break the bank to buy this.......it will be a dream come true to own this piece.....the 010 is abit big for my wrist.....it replaces the 005 (all discontinued)....

both are chuncky watches for big wrist, I wish those extra meat on my tummy can grow on my wrists and arms so that I can wear big watches.

I had this watch for a few months and finally gave up because of the size, no chance to pull out the antennae yet...haha

Cool... Leather or Steel?

steel last time not quite into leather straps but actually like leather better now only problem is that if too long no wear, e strap hardens
