Just wondering do you know of any spares or bikes lying about Yamaha 3MA SPR model(Combat model similar to the one you had last time)

I dropped off my tank and panels to be welded and they called me to say the tank has holes in after they sanded that will need welding

 

Split the crankcases tonight, need one cylinder stud, does anyone have a spare one? Also, anyone know a good engineer who can get the broken stud out of the cases?

I have a few bits to give away if anyone wants them as I get my bike closer to being finished. Rear wheel, which needs the bearing seat to be repaired. Rear light bracket, chromed swing arm that needs tidying up. Will have some other bits that will suit someon einto restoration as I get closer to the finish

 

Also, I have a set of good 250 barrels and head for sale possibly for the right offer.

yamaha parts stockists still do carry them...

if not all, some parts still got stock.

but not those which are no longer in prod.

mechanics for the Tong is still a matter of personal preference n confidence...

Just about got my LC back together now, tonight I'll put some fuel in and see if it works....... Does anyone have a decent contact for a towing service to take the bike down for inspection?

Almost there, she runs and is all together now. Got to chase down a couple of the usual post rebuild leaks, the just final touches tomorrow and fingers crossed for inspection on Saturday!

She passed the inspection first time! A bit of a panic this morning, I put in half a tank of petrol and found a pinhole leak in the tank. Shop near Bukit Batok Vicom welding it up and ran it across for the inspection for me very cheap!

Wife is very happy it passed but wants me to sell it already
