WTF, sent some parts for chroming, when i got it back then realised the main stand is missing. ARRRRRRR

 

My friend just bought a new one from a shop called Automachinery. Still available from Japan so this is some good news for you at least.

 

Can you go back to the chrome shop and ask them where it is? Can you let us know where this shop is, just in case we also use them some day. Can't be too careful with these old parts!

Thanks i will go check it out. The shop is in JB, industrial area where they do chroming for hotel furnishing. Anyway forget it, doubt they are able to find it.

anyway, saw a 35Tong bearing plate no Foxtrot Charlie 3145 in such a sorry cond.

its a 4UO, RZ model...wif a pair of YPVS (31K) exhaust pipes fitted.

it seems to be quite a while 'abandoned' wif its present state.

checked wif LTA, its lay-up period also juz expired Apr dis year.

by any chance, if anyone knows of the owner's contacts, do drop me a PM.

i know of someone who's keen to take over.

its such a waste if it cant be put back on the road....forever.

Defu? A black Tong? It's awaiting a full rebuild, shop is taking their own sweet time and they told me it's not for sale. This was the only one there till recently, there are now 4 to 5 Tong's there now...... all waiting the bike shop to get their act together.

n its not in any of the bike shops in Ave 10.

anyway, if u do know the owner....do save dat 35Tong.

There are a few around in bike shops. One at AMK Ind Park II ( a yellow one ) with a few missing parts and one more at a bike shop in Admiralty Street. Both are over priced to begin with, and with COE now at $2500, the bikes are not worth the asking price in my opinion. I can find out more if you like.

 

Nothing beats the black Tong at Belwin, along Syed Alwi Rd. First, there is the rude staff to deal with........... then the $8K price tag! I was told that that was going up to 9K soon!

 

I wish you the best of luck to you and your hunt for a tong. I will continue to look about and let you guys know if I find anything.

comes wif a nice plate no, Foxtrot 2244 Tango.

coe renewed till 2020, but frankly not in the best cond, needs lots of work to do.

go check it out....

 

btw, i agree wif pinkomax, the one @Belwin is one hell of a pristine cond 35Tong.

where is a good place for rebore and decent pistons? Somewhere who will chamfer the ports after boring?
