true true, do the necessary manual work first, and jaga the ECU anyway can check if your X-11 forum got factory repair manuel for this bike ie with the possible FI blinks so we can better prepare for the rainy days? dun mind to get a pnotocopy one

 

well, PC one i not tat sure but only know that can tune the kind of ride and torque and fuel injection to different level of ride... guess it is a ECU in a way now, but not too sure if it can or is a ECU replacement, Well fuel consumption, many told me, way of riding, tyre pressure, spark plugs, etc...let me try mah bike awhile and i"ll tell you in a few days time cos just did a cleaning for the injector head and see if it helps with my fuel....

 

Roger, if yours is the UK model, congrats, you're the only one i know so far with the Europe model and ONLY ONE. All else i know of are Jap Domestic Model. and watch the HISS keys....... $1K ignition replacement ..... hehehe

i did check for a manual at the forum, couldn't find one, got i'll let you know...

 

the PC isn't it to optimize air/fuel ratio, to maximzie HP? shoudn't be that unless the mapping is wrong, then'll need to do a remap... of cos the other stuff too like riding style, tyre, sparks...

 

i'm getting about 13km/l, will monitor again... btw, my rpm is about 3.6k for 100km/h in 5th... so looks normal..

 

think i'll need to go for some tuning too... the engine dun sound smooth, exhaust like sputtering a little in the mornings...

 

maybe one of these days can meet up let me check out you guys x11s ya? anyone staying near AMK?

when i bought my X11 got nothing, no manual, no toolkit... nothing...

guys.. i chanced upon this website showing X11's specs.. it says the dry weight for the bike is about 194kg.. from the specs i got from the Europe website, it says the dry weight for X11 is 222kg.. so wanna ask if jap models are that light??

Bro didnt know u interested in the revtec too..... i had mine installed liao, if i had known you were interested, would had organise a group instead of paying the promo price if you want a number to sms to, just tell me yah? paid the promo proce or $80 for it.... usual is i think $90, call them up to see if can get a discount by forming a group or something lor .........

I already got a windshield.. more interested in buying the original headlight assembly.. the bikeshop quote me 280 for it.. anyone knows any place selling cheaper??

i'm also looking for a belly pan for my "darling".. however, cost around 300+ to 400 just to import the pan.. sianz liao..

 

and is there anyone here that installed boxes on ur X11?? err.. considering if i shld install side panniers.. but the rack looks are very crucial.. cos the boxes are so-call "for overseas used only"..

i've got nothing on mine, no windshield, box, panniers, belly pan... dun think i want any either...

 

what's the matter with your headlight that you wanna put in a new one? i was thinkning of going FJT find some replacement screws... i'll check headlight price for you...

 

the only thing i wanna buy now is some fender entender, not sure where to get those though... and maybe scottoiler... any of you guys have them?

thanks man..the headlight on my bike is not the original headlight.. so i was considering if i shld change it back or not.. but if the price is really that ex.. then i think can forget it le..

so far, for my wish list is probably Hel brake hose, aftermarket suspension, and maybe after market brake disc, but all this need $$$$$

 

Hel hose is expensive, considering the fact that our's are CBS and thus we need about more the 10 lines to link it which is $55x10=$550 or more..... unless i opt to disconnect the CBS which will make it a conventional barke system which is cheaper if really cant tahan maybe will go for rebuild suspension which is cheaper unless strike 4D hehe

 

side pannniers, for a time did think abt it but then change mind cos i prefer the ability to squeeze when jam and the original streamline for the bike. As far as i know, Givi Wing Rack look nice and can fit but maybe expensive...... if you need for occasionl overseas trip, try those soft side panniers but you do have to remove from bike if you reach a destination.

 

Yo philiplolc bro, all your goodies seem only availiable from abroad ie handle bar raiser, fender extender, seems like you are really investing on bike and appearals.... haha saw your MO on gloves and Jacket well there is 1 scottoiler 2nd hand in the garagesales section for $100 with a spare oil, go check it out and hows the update on the FI problem

 

Bellypan may have another X-11er interested in it if Roger you are getting it as for you headlight assembly, is it becos the previous owner change it to those streetfighter style one from Acerbis? can your headlight fit the S4 or hornet type? if not just post in the garagesales that you wanna buy and i'm sure many will sell and its cheaper then a new & original from Boon Siew

same for me too, box & panniers... put already traffic jam hard to squeeze.. gotta be more careful and tight squeeze won't fit anymore... the only thing i'll want a box if i ever get one, is to put helmet... panniers to put helmet will be way too big... but box kinda spoil the lines of the bike... if go touring can use a bagster or some other tank bag should be good enough.. get those extendible bags if got alot of stuff to put..

 

and ya man, spending abit, but thinking of spending more...

i looked up revtech on google, its a fuel management system? and only $80? retail price was like usd$170... or is your revtech something else?

 

i also looking at maybe some exhausts... Roger what did you pay for your microns? i checked out the leo vince ones at marine terrace but they don't have street legal for the blackbird/x11...

 

the fender extender i tot somewhere in SG got sell, just not sure where... but lately has been raining and the bike really dirty after riding abit... the fender thingo might help a little... and maybe a bigger hugger you think?

 

you guys wanna buy any stuff from overseas let me know... i used to buy alot of crap from US... the ICON stuff was looking at the previous MO thread so tot i'd do one since so many interested.. you guys want any? the gloves look kinda nice but maybe next round if got...

Revtech is more then a fuel saving system, there are some explaination by them in the MO section, go check it out, got pictures too if you keen, can join up with Roger to see if got discount

 

Hmm.... my friend tat is interested in the Windshield and bellypan is also looking for legalize aftermarket exhaust...... maybe we can do 1 item per month together to save cost hehehe....... as for the imported stuffs like Icon, though they looks good but still expensive to me but i will like to try your handlebar raisers.... like to know if its useful. I am more a practical and stingy person hehehe.... was thinking of the Repsol jacket in the MO section from China Bargains......... but then again, i never really wear a jacket in Sillypore cos of the sun..... but only recently i change to a FF helmet cos i notice most big bike riders use them hehehe (boost image) hahaha....

 

As for Kopi and Teh, this Fri, i cant cos work till 2am but soon by brudders, cos i am changing job liao...... to a restuarant in Raffles City Shopping Centre so no more working to wee hours in the nite But i will really like to gather all the Brute Riders even if its just once hahaha.... just imagine the looks on everyone's face if we happen to park in Kallang KFC or Pitstop hehehehehe:bounce:

yeah man.. honestly, i'm really considering to remove the CBS on the bike.. true that it minimise the braking distance.. but when u want to play corners with the bike, it is kinda dangerous..

 

as for the box and panniers.. well.. i'm looking at givi wing rack too.. well.. it has the best looks as i wouldn't be putting the boxes in s'pore at all.. i already have the givi arrowbag.. but if i put that on, pillions have difficulty sitting as the bag's location is all the way to the pillion's footrest.. as for the time being.. i don't have a designated pillion i have to carry.. so can still hold out on the soft bag.. so i guess weather or not this project will visualise will depend on my future gf.. if i managed to find one that is..

 

and hey.. get ur other X11er friend to join in the chat.. i still considering the bellypans.. if can get it less than $300.. then i might buy it.. but the price motorworld quote me is.. er... $400, nearing $500.. haiz..

philiplolc my man.. my micron cost $950 per endcan.. at least, i was told.. from Unity.. cosmetics modifications are mostly done by the previous owner.. when i got my bike.. honestly.. nothing much to mod on the exterior.. i concentrate mostly on the interior.. and of cos.. replacement of worn out parts..

 

when is the Kulai outing?? keep us updated.. havent been to msia for quite some time le..

ahah, shithead... FF i dunno about image... but i'll never ride a bike without one... saved my face from reconstructive surgery when i did a fishtail skid on a rainy day with my scrambler many years ago and landed on the tarmac smack on my chin... whew...

 

is your revtech same as this? Revtech for CBR1000

 

i just received the softcopy of the X11 manual, and there are 50 pages on just troubleshooting the FI lights... holy crap... make a copy for you all next time...
