to my naked brudders:

 

Gentlman, for the revtec it does help with fuel consumption, cos last week when i tried with half tank, not much different. But this week, it seems like the tank can last abt 1-2 days more, normally it holds for abt 6-7 days with abt 40+km each day ride and my last top up was 4/5/06. For the rest of the effect, its abit smoother in the response of acceleration but to me it cuts down alot on my engine brake. So up to you all to decide.... try to get grounding cables as well cos that does help smoothen the accelaration as well.... think revtec also have a promo with it..... saw another 1 like the revtech call X-rider in the garagesales. Its posted as a Sticky, go check it out too before deciding....

 

the other X-11 guy doesnt have a Computer at home so cant chat hehehe so bellypan have to check with him again, but i do remember he express an interest in it then.... but now he is looking at aftermarket pipe and windshield..... crashbar and S/S brack hose and bellypan was then.... but i think he wanna pay slowly or buy mth by mth cos all this is alot of $$$$.....

 

And for installing box, i heard that it cuts down aerodynamic for Top Speed so you still sure u wan it?

 

Manuel... i wan .... i wan... and for the 0-100 pick up test, i have one clip in my desktop that shows a recording in Japanese of a X-11 doing that in 2.47sec you can probably still find it in the clips and trailers section in SBF cos i found it there quite some time ago.... and X-11 is reputated to give most Sports bike a run for money interms of pick up and straight road but corners cannot make it lah....

 

Aftermarket pipes, i understand the buy price is cheaper then Sillypore but its the S&H that kills cost it goes by weight.... and after that still must bring LTA to certify it to be legal......

first you'll see my bike, then scroll down some more, you'll see the revtec on the V-Twin bike. this revtec unlike the your webby one is very squarish and like a cube with a flashinf bulb on it. it doesnt have any other connector holes nor ability to adjust fuel injection......

 

maybe you can check it out with them first.... or if you need any hp numbers to call sms me cos i have one of their hp number

frankly, Fuel consumption is abit better but not say like fantastically good, and the power respond has some effect but now if you ask me to say, also hard as i am accustom to the feel after a week liao.... and Fuel is only my second week so cant really tell you exact, somemore i never go and properly take note on the mileage so cant give you and roger a better idea.... so you have to read and decide for yourselves.

Re :Hugger bigger i think also no use as water will still spray in and dirty the underside of bike, maybe mud flap will help (sorry ah, cos mine with undertray) and the other X-11er also interested in undertray hahaha $$$ again.... fender extender maybe will help prevent water from shooting to radiator and shrouds but sands will still scretch or stick to fender and flap .... sianz....

 

 

 

oh ya, forgot, the damn FI still lighting up... and scott oiler on hold, manual oiler still can...

well.. that's why asking for reviews.. so far i know of 3 fellas that installed revtec.. from the other 2, it's said that its not bad.. like what u said, reduced engine brake, blah blah blah.. so far not many comments..

 

box installation.. well, what's the top u have tried b4? i can never break the 240 mark as the bike tend to fishtail a little from 220.. but the box is only meant for touring.. will not hook up the boxes in sg..

 

X11 is known to leave a 600cc bike behind in terms of pickup and straight roads.. but that was during that era.. the 600cc bikes nowadays are pretty fast, so i dont think an X11 can still retain it's title.. moreover, the it is limit to 5 gears.. wonder if we can slave in a Blackbird's gearbox.. like that topspeed should increase.. but midrange leh.....

and shoot lah, $90 only for scott oiler... really tempting... but dunno his universal scotty can fit an x11... let me go check first..

if the x11 jap guy 2.47secs... its probably heavily mod... but still its some serious torque... already in superbike territory... beat the K4, R1, zx10r who are around 2.6-2.8 secs... the 600s only about 4secs and ours is 3secs... but not that we want to kick some butt... just good to know that we can...

 

if you really wanna add more pickup speed, or top end, maybe can consider dropping or adding 1 or 2 tooth on your back or front sprockets first... i read on the uk x11 forum some guy removed one tooth to his front sprocket to 16 on his x11.. in first gear keep wanting to wheelie...

our default x11 is 17 front, 43 rear...

now i know why my top speed and fuel consumption is not pretty much affected.. when i changed my sprocket, i just wanted to reduce the rear sprocket by 1 teeth.. but the mechanic got me a 16 tooth for my front one.. he told me most is 16.. mine no exception.. but i forgot to check the old one..

Euro about 2 times, USD about 1.6, UK pounds yup, its abt 3 times...

 

Metisse belly pan is usd$200 without ship, that's about same as topline... i'll check with the topline guy see how much they wanna ship...
