yup 2 of us are actually facing this problem and the best remedy is .............. to ignore hahaha thats wat we did for the past year .. it doesnt hurt the bike or engine andfurthermore no power loss .... i understand from alot of mechanic that this problem will resurface even if you change to a new knock sensor ....

 

 

Guys MCA has confirm an exclusive with us .... they wanna do a shot with us this sun either morn,noon or evening wat say you ....

Well it came and go as it like...got it for 6mth den ok...no blinks,only last mth den it came back,mebbe bad fuel or something...well as for the performance,when i'm running at 80km/h its so sluggish that u need to open throttle more...kind of making me want to hand over my license to the TP..

one technician actually told me to stop the blink, you gotta pump v-power and whack it to clear the carbon

Calling all X11 .... MCA will do a feature on X11 and i am calling out to all proud X11 owners to raise to the occasion ... it will be a Sun morning photo shoot and interview which will only take about 1 hr .

 

Currently i have 6 riders and hope to get more of the same kind to join in this occasion

date and venue TBC

yo, my FI 25 blinks just disappeared again ... this is my 2nd time ... 1st time all i know was 1 rainiy nite i was travelling way below speed limit on a conjested and wet CTE .. after tat nite the FI disappeared. came back when i went up NSH to Blast.

 

this time round i heed the advice of a mechanic and feed it with 98 fuel (Vpower would be better) and blast and drag on highway .... me travell to CCK from AMK everyday... and it disappeared .....Hmmm .... maybe you might wanna try ....

I skali saw this x-11 down at everbright... at industrial area near singpost hq at paya lebar/ubi.

FS plate. Totally stock. with 74k clicks on the clock.

blue color, a bit boring actually, but ok. I like. very quiet understatement. with fat chunky engine and that mutha of a radiator shroud.

 

i did my homework long time ago.... I knooowwww what lurks in the x-11.

 

according to the fellow there, this bike is placed there by owner.

Wow...tats coolz. But stock look uncomparable to Z1000, dynamic lookin, unless some ops have been done.

each bike has to be seen for its own merit.

 

the z looks sweet. very light and unique. doberman. swatch. adidas. psp. x-games. bacardi cooler. bloody mary. salem menthol.

 

the x looks like a tank. and is just as tough. rottweiler. g-shock. timberland. foosball. war games. jim beam. kamikaze. marlboro red.

 

couple years ago i was THHHIIIISSSSSS close to buying an x-11. but that one lousy exterior condition. so didnt buy.

 

i sold the Z couple months ago. now itching for another naked machine.

 

everyone tells me fazer this, fazer that. i dunno lah, fazers dont do it for me...

Look at his awesome Z1000 conversion, done up, hmmm yummy, yet the machine have to go? I think i ever read bout your bike sometime back as i have interest in Z1000 since it launched.

 

X11 exterior can be developed tho, just customised it as some parts are beyond reach here, maybe some knew what i meant, wats impt the engine roar since day 1.

yup. whoa, so there IS life outside of the Z circle. hehe..

anyway.. all thoses were simple straight forward mods. brake, suspension, airbox, zorst, attitude.

 

all that was fun. Mod' ing the Z. Riding with the boys. But had to move on. I got some kind of chronic bike itch.

 

anyways I saw a pic of I dunno whose X with the aftermarket endcans and dual headlights. Very nice.

 

I havent seen an X on the road for ages.

 

Anyway, I already dumped a load of cash at the shop I mentioned. The one selling the X.

 

they tell me I will be able to take it within the week.

 

they put in new eo ( forgot what brand, purple color bottle, they say its good. I think bloody cheap pariah brand), plugs, oil filter, pads. I asked for bt020 cos the X is a tyre shredder. Softer compunds sure cannot tahan.

 

I'll keep you boys updated. We'll gather for kopi soon.

Wow...congrats.

 

The twin headlite X11 belonged to either Gadgetman (speedtriple lookalike) or Roger (headfairing w 2 x projection lite). Both with scorpion or micron too.

He was one of the few tat had the x11 tail tidy up, the only one with twin head lite here.

 

A customised headfairing wld be nice, also better cutting the wind rather than putting a screen ontop that boring round lite.
