So she riding the bike or pillioning? Wah kaoz, still can say you got nice bike some more....flirty man. Which reminds me, i need to get my bike washed man....dirty again from past few days rain....sigh.

 

Some more this morning went down to cka to get my rear sproket changed....sam said no more stock le...have to wait till tuesday :mad:

hi all!

 

i've just read the first 5 pages of this thread..(gonna read the rest later:) i'm new in this forum.

 

well.... i just got my licence, and now looking for a bike. actually, roadwin IS my dream bike, i can say.. i don't much about the technical stuff yet, but the bike really is attractive. If only i can find a reasonable 2nd hand one...

still cannot le...which reminds me...i went to top up my tank today... 12l of Shell XO for 360+ km of mileage. My consumption getting higher le...drop from 33 to 29-30 km/l....maybe cause i've been dragging my gears too often this week....hehe... anyways can't wait till Tuesday.

 

Gonna change my rear sproket to 40t. 15/42t setting is good is you like to have pick up and cruising along the highway @ 100kph. But the bike cant go any higher speed (max rpm is between 8000 - 9000 only) due to hp issues. Maybe if you weigh

Most prob that your sprokets are worn out already. You could also check your wheel/sproket alignment.

by changing jet-needle's e-clip to different slots and air-screw adjustments,

Compression ratio a bit high dun u think? How's your fuel consumption like now? I think if i set it that setting...have to go to JB top up more often :sian:

 

Like you said your main culprit could be your chain. heavy-duty 428 chain tat i'm using now :confused: Sounds like those cheap ones used on RXKs. Try using DID 'O'rings la. I think you just whack the chain and the sproket till almost really cannot use already then change your chain & sproket set at the same time.

Called cka just now...ask them if the 40t rear sprokets are in stock already. Told me that stock will come in next week! Soh, u also using local sprokets for both the front and the rear right. I'm also using local front sprokets ma.....so not really much difference.
