oh ok.. what do u use to lub ur bike chain? also, why do u have to off ur lights and warm up your bike?

 

haha. its very very stable, very smooth at higher speeds.. however, im not supposed to rev beyond 6 now so still riding quite slow.. zzzzz

i'm using "pj1 chain jelly" to lub it.

increase battery life when u off ur lights n start engine.. warm up to let the engine oil lubricate the inner components so increase engine parts. or so i believe.. haha

oic. thanks for the info! one more question.. when i reach home, i have to get off the bike to open the gate.. so i put it in neutral, on sidestand, go open gate then come back. but when i come back and put the bike into gear 1, the engine stalls. when i restart the same thing happens for a few times then suddenly ok. why is this? but this never happens at traffic lights when i put to neutral then engage first gear when the light turns green. any solutions?

the first time i forgot so it died. but does it really affect? then subsequently it was up already and still die for a few more times before working properly

bro i tried to use my owners manual to locate the fuse, but cant seem to find it! maybe when the mech did my wire management he put it somewhere else? cos i spent half an hour and couldnt find it.. dont have to remove the battery right?

u r using good synthetic eo, sound may not be from the engine??

if it really from engine, it could be your cam chain loosen.

cam-chain tensioner at it's limit due to cam-chain slider worn out.

 

but then i sometime forget to close my IU cover n it ratters when i move off.

 

another place is the front sprocket cover, it is made of plastic.

i found cracks at the bolt mount area top n bottom due to over tightening (my fault).

lazy to change, so i use plastic-sin epoxy to mould it.

 

it's not those kinda rattle sounds.. it's more like rough gears engaging, sth liddat. but the thing is, the sound is gone already. i really dunno what happened.

 

oso, u said u engage gears at 4k rite? but if i engage at 4k, i dun have power to move the bike..

i'm getting old, eyesight no good, reactions too slow.

i'm going slow n gentle, maybe tat's why my fc is good.

 

haha. i ride slow as well. usually change at 6k rpm. but sometimes i drag to 7k then change.

 

sir, after fixing on the air filter cover, i'm experiencing problems with start up. has it anything to do with spark plug cable or anything? all my problems started to arise after i fix the cover, i'm so tempted to take it out again, since it didn't give me any problems in the first place.. haiz..

beside roadsport, maybe u should take a look at hyosung gtr125 or honda cbr125.

ahah i nvr regret getting roadwin r.. looks damn great imo.. performance good also.. just gotta get used to it.. just parked beside a cbr 400.. its higher man! wheels as big.. the bike seems bigger than the cbr 400! but the tank smaller.. haha
