ahah i nvr regret getting roadwin r.. looks damn great imo.. performance good also.. just gotta get used to it.. just parked beside a cbr 400.. its higher man! wheels as big.. the bike seems bigger than the cbr 400! but the tank smaller.. haha

From my 3 choices i've cut down to roadwinR liao..

 

R125 and vara 125 is way to expensive liao..

 

the extra few thousand dollars can go buy guitar! lol!

stsoh i ask u sth ah.. my idling is around 1.5-1.6 but sometimes it goes up to 2 by itself and come back to 1.5... is this normal?

i normally shift gear at 4k rpm, shifting gear at 6~7k rpm to me is abusing the engine.

tat's why u r having high fc, if need power then u should set the carb jet-needle eclip in 4th slot.

pilot screw at 2 3/4 turns should be enough for easy engine start up,

if your idling speed is set low then it will be difficult to start, it should be around 1.4~1.6k rpm.

with n without air-filter will affect the air/fuel mixtures.

 

maintenance:

change spark plug every 10,000 km.

change air-filter every 20,000 km.

 

maybe u need a more powerful bike, like those 2-stroke 200cc scramblers.

too bad there isn't any naked bike with 2-stroke 200cc engine.

 

nah.. i like my roadwin, gonna stick to it. i rather find out what the problem and solve it, than to change to another bike and run away from my problem

 

but really appreciate your advice.

hm, it feels smoother to change gears at lower speeds and rpm.. but then i feel if dont throttle to like 7k before change.. takes very long to accelerate from say, 4k rpm.. 1-130 is faster when changed gears at higher speeds/rpm

i've tried changing at 4k.. then i'll be changing gear practicaly every one second. feels kinda weird, n the bike would be struggling to pick up speed. i'm pillioning 99% of the time, and we would weigh 140kg together. not sure if that is an affecting factor or not..
