QUESTION: can roadwin fit in other brand of pipe like yoshi....etc instead of the moriwaki, cause it still not legal here , last week went to jurong cka, the mech sez can hit up to 140 with no vibration:

stock is geared higher which has better pickup.

 

i find tat using 15t r much better at higher rpm cruising.

lesser engine vibrations due to lower rpm at higher speed.

 

more power = more fuel consumptions.

set carb richer+15t sprocket give u the balance of pickup n better top speed.

 

depends on how u ride ur bike, if u do

fc is still about the same but doing >100kph will be higher fc.

it is up to u...wat is ur riding preferences?

i heard from fren that the rw can bolt a end can that's for a 600cc.. coz he's riding a biggy bike and that day he look at the rw. end can is 4 bolts. so.. can buy most big bike bolt on end can. or maybe u wanna use an slip on for easy changing.

 

just now saw 1 gilera dna at bukit timah. fitted with aftermarket end can.. so big and chio. sound nice too.

this bike really interest me. i' aiming fer the 140cc. first hand.. i'm 19 n currently without a bike but werking as pizza del. to me 120 is enough... cause learnt it the hard way. the faaaaaster, more siok, but braking terms... scary. that moment really took my breath away so max for me is 120. jus nice for me. this bike suits me perfectly.. plus, the ppl here are friendly. that's important to me cause i need to hav kakis of the same bike so can hang out n talk about the RW

 

btw,there's jus one last thing i need to know,

-the tyres. how much to change?

-n the bike plus insurance is roughly 7k?

roadwiniac, i don't recomend u to do ur RW like ur signature. seen the signature bike of urs in sg before. ur rw will look like a big head small tail

yes, in the picture, it looks ok, but it's not matching with e rw's tail..

but u can try other fairing's though... but since if u wanna buy a 2a bike in the future, cancell out tt idea of urs... waste of money...

Yes bro, once u crash the more u dun wanna speed. Now only travel 100-110 on eway and 60-80 on normal roads. After passing by so many accidents and seeing police and CD spreading out white/black sheets....

I think we can try to submit the yoshi / moriwaki pipes to LTA for approval. My friend rode a Gilera with a GPR end can. He says you have to fit the pipe on your bike and go for LTA test to see if noise level, COx, NOx all meet requirements.

 

Finally, they will give u a cert so if u kena stop by TP/ROV just show the certificate to them

 

Of coz the cert and inspection alone is quite ex (hundred plus...cant remember but within that range)
