wat brand is the disc? 140 is very cheap lor since the original one selling for 200+ at eversuccess.

 

anyway ur hugger is on the way to CBR289. i posted it on 10th april, should be reaching either today or tomorrow gua :cheeky:

hehe noleh... its sgd80 + RM15 courier.... nvm la just charge u sgd5.00 for the courier. so total is sgd85... :cheeky:

anyway when u collect the hugger from CBR289, he will tell u how to fix the thing, cos need to fabricate some brackets, or u can use cable-ties. :thumb:

ahah my front is a Lockhart philips carbon fiber one.... bought it sometime ago from a forumer here... but not really shiok cos after some time the carbon fiber will have crack lines...

when i was in malacca, i rode my buddy's sp1 back to malacca from KL.

a very powerful sp1 with a newly fixed slipper clutch, forged aluminium rims, akra full system, pc3, brembo pump n brembo discs, carbon fiber fairings, ohlins front forks, ohlins rear shock...1 thing very noticeable is the slipper clutch - a real wonder to use man... really love it, but it costs RM4k...

the sounds of the v-twin is really, really loud. at my workshop, i had 3 CBR900's start the engines, but still cant be heard once we start the sp1.

the sp1 pulls really hard at low revs starting at 2k rpm, but lacks the topend pull where our inline-4 starts to pull

fuel consumption i used it for 3 days was quite OK lor, its higher than a CBR900. it was giving me about 14+km/L with all the mods... quite properly tuned up with the pc3 i guess. downside is, although it handles better than a CBR900 but i could feel the weight is much more than a CBR900. chassis, suspension is just superb. but the weight n heat if stuck in traffic jam is terrible....

 

the ohlins damper really damn damn good. while riding back to kedah i did have the chance to test out properly. i encountered a few tankslaps at the high speed sweepers (about 220kmh) when i dint tighten the damper. once i put the damper to +10 clicks, the front felt rock solid at sweepers which i pushed to above 240kmh... really worth the money :thumb:
