you mean if there is breakfast so early? yes, definitely :cheeky:

money changer? there is one at GP R&R but I do not think it is open that early. but since you will be passing there before you hit the GP esso, no harm to keep a lookout

FYI : the money changer open from 9am to 9pm...

I will say it is up to you , but

for your own safety best to be in full gear...

anyway i recomend everyone to wear full gear even in sg

as sg car r much more dangerous than car over then...

stupid car in sg, anyhow lane change and etc...

Please lah! There are 2 strokers that went to Hatyai! But if suspect engine got problem better don't risk it.

May I know how long will the trip be? Can give an estimated timing for the variuos recce points?

for the timing of various recce point ... i can't tell u for now as most likey the recce trip will miss all the time as we do not know the road condition..

And the trip is a whole day trip..

Hi, just for your info. there is a MO for Arai touring mesh jacket @100. please check out the SBF scooter thread - SBF scooter anniverary MO.

Hi bro, that Arai jacket is a v nice jacket and damn cheap. but pls take note, it's not original from Arai. Heard from some shops that sell this jacket say Arai did not produce riding jackets. It's those manufacturer took it to indonesia to sew on the logo.

anyway, at least there's still some protection better than nothing.

the disadvantage is no waterproof inner liner so u have to wear your rain coat over it. and the protection pads are v soft.

Hi bros, thanks for your concern. will definitely be back for next trip once bike is done.

as for u guys asking whether a jacket is neccessary? I would say it's a must. not only jacket. full face, glove, riding pants and boots is a must when u are on the road. this sounds like too exaggerated but it really help u to save some skin when things happen and u wont know when it's going to happen.

as for the weather in sgp and m'sia and some parts of thai, of cos we cant endure with the jacket and pants on. that's y riders normally dont wear them when normal riding. but when accident happens, then u will know how important it is.

my accident experience : I got myself and gf a flip up full face once i got my big bike. becos it's a flip up, so i prefer not to close it when in sgp to allow more air flow.

when i was riding behind a car in PIE during peak hours, every1 is driving slowly including me becos of heavy traffic. but it's my stupid mistake to keep too close at the most right lane where normally chain accident happen. this car in front suddenly jam brake becos of the cars infront of him jam brake too.

of cos when bike jam brake wont be that efficient compare to car, so i went straight to his bumper. then my body lean forward and my nose hit my windshield and this cause a deep cut on my nose. if the impact is higher, it might cut off my nose from my face.

after that incident, i ask myself y didnt i close down my flip up. if i did it, i wont be suffering.

if the impact is high, i think the joint on the flip up full face also cant stand it. my advice is get those 1 piece type. get the Shoei or Arai. it's ex but worth it.

so pls guys, get yourself and your pillions the proper gears. if u dont wear it in sgp becos of the weather, at least wear it for trips. I myself bought everything except pants for me and gf. cost ard 1.7k. but i oso wear them for trips only.

sorry for been so long winded...
