By the way.. a general question.. there is an indicator on the dashboard panel.. bottom left hand side where the oil service , battery and engine warning is that does not reflect on the manual. Its a round circle with an exclamation mark inside?

 

last 2 days notice its flicker red during tall humps and uneven road.. could it be the coolant?

Not sure why it flickers but that is suppose to warn you when you have the parking brake on.

As Charlie said, the round sign with the exclamation mark in the centre is the parking brake 'on' indicator light.

Could be it got accidently stuck to your trousers as you ride along a high hump or bumpy road..

Just my curious sense....

Can bring ur bike for a check if problem persists... :)

Of course there is wheel bearings...self life unknown but mine gave up on me @ 11k km on the rear. had it change but it's more than a yr ago I can't remember how much. Which tire do you intend to change? check with your mech he shd be able to quote.

 

 

thanks bro. got it changed. but don't think got myself good deal. Got a kenda tyre in the end. After the rear tyre was fixed, rotation also not super smooth. must go suan the mechanic next time liao

Is a big mistake to get kenda tyre. Never in my life when i rode until the split on the tyre is so big that it exposed the wire mesh inside.

 

U should hv got at least michellin

Yes. They replace one side where the day light bulb blow.

Hi guys, anyone keen for a ride up to Malacca in Jan 2016? I am in my 50. Basically ride up early morning, hopefully reach Malacca by around 10am. Stay one night, next day do a late check out, then ride back Singapore.

When there, go walk around the tourist attraction, do some photography and of course eat.

Oh, btw, I don't ride fast. Just cruise around 110-120. I am riding xciting 400i. And it will be a weekday. Maybe go Wednesday come back Thursday. To beat the crowd and traffic.

 

Anyone keen?

Yes. Need to arrange with the workshop. Charges depend case by case basis.
