Electric sanding equipment

I'm sanding my helmet in preparation for a respray, but using hands to sand is going to take me years to complete. I've seen some sanding tools ard but not too sure what would be gd for the job. Heard about electric sanders being too powerful and sanding too deep.

 

Is there any to recommend for sanding helmets/fairings etc?

the standard sanding tool is flat surface, you will get very uneven surface if used on rounded or curve profile surface. You can buy the sanding disc attachment for power Drill, they are CHEAPER and multitask your power drill (instead of speding another $100+ buying a sanding tool. But when using tools the surface can still be uneven.

 

Nothing beats the human touch and feel (and a block of wood ) ...
