Guys about the old bird new bird issue, I agree with eno's pt of sense of belonging, etc .. But also concur wif ash point on the raising of funds..

 

So I tot of instead of having an 'either this or that' approach, We could have both polo tees.. The current one can stay so that new riders can get them.. While the new design tee wld also be available to all.. No exclusivity or whatsoever..

 

So those who already have the current tee can purchase e new one.. Hence, putting a win win situation to all.. We can hav identity for all with the old tee, have a fresh design to add an edge to the club and yet boost the clubs fund..

That was what I'm trying to say all along.. I think u guys misunderstood me..

 

I did mention ADDITIONAL tee in the earlier post meaning the old tee still stays.. we are hoping to make a new ADDITIONAL tee to raise funds..

 

aiya.. so hard to explain.. hahha.. nvm lah.. i leave to the committee to decide whats best for the club.. just my humble input..

wah, so many things...

 

ok ok.. what ash and hafiz said was almost like what wadi, i and a few others have been talking about all along. pls read and just keep it in ur mind for the time being. we'll work it out after the exams.

- we are not phasing out the old logo, but the old logo will only be available on the polo-T as a classic design. so anyone can still order it.

- like what ash n hafiz said, and what we thought of was, with the variety of products with new logo, even the oldbirds will buy and hopefully raise funds for the club to run and participate in other activities as well. that being said, since ash n hafiz raised this issue as well, they'll be the first ones in the oldbirds that will be buying the products.

 

those were our thoughts and discussions. we'll finalize with the new committee after the exams.

personally, i am fine with sticking to the current logo(but must revamp/touch up) OR making a new logo.

in making the new logo, the essence of current logo and motto must carried forward. just look at windows logo and adidas logo., and compare them with their old ones.

 

lets not bother with this thing for now.

 

concentrate on your exams.

Hopefully, his message goes around and "touch" more hearts.. Or else, the election will still be the same awful staged-up drama, that everyone will eventually knows the outcome..

 

I have to agree thou.. I do not want the Opposition to take over entirely,.. I just want to see that at the end of the day, wadeva the result is, there will be signs of renewed accountability of the govt towards its people,.. i.e real, workable solutions to the urban stress, social integration, and for the govt to address the ever-so-loving topic of the rising cost in living (housing, work, etc etc)..

 

Cannot say so much, skali this thread kena monitored..

IMHO its fun if u have e whole set of NRC polo t... i have 4 generations of it! even e logo got changed.. cuz e initial one kinda sucked

 

and we're really happy with e one we got now... so ya..

 

just my two cent worth. dun be too attached to just having a design... e only constant is change..
