anyway.. just the other day, 2 TP was looking at me all over at a traffic light junction.. i think they looking at my half-cap helmet... but did nth..

dunno when i will get caught for it.. haha..

 

i think they want summon you but dare nt cos you look like mafia.

doing DIY transfer

1) view bike

Okay, so let's say I like this bike and I wanna buy his bike. Next day, i go to NTUC income and buy my insurance right? Just give the number plate to the officer and that's all? I'm not sure about buying the insurance part.

 

alternatively, you can bring to a bike shop and ask them do everything for you. they'll prob charge you around $20.

it really save me alot of troubles n especially time..

 

and when i sold my phantom, i asked the guy to pay me full then go bike shop n do all those transfers...

haha..

yeah.. just give the vehicle number, make n model and personal details, they'll quote you the insurance premium.. if u have NCD and Certificate of merit, please show them so that you can get further discount on your premiums..

 

and like wad the previous post says, please scrutinise every aspect of the bike, coz u dun wanna inherit all the problems.. heres a rough guide i posted a while back.. the list is not exhaustive, but it'll at least pre-empt you on what you should be checking.

u can buy, but u can choose the day u want the insurance to start

 

lets say u buy one wednesday, u can ask them to start it on saturday,

then the 1 yr will start on sat

PROBLEM is not serious, if it can be solved with MONEY ... the PROBLEM comes when you have NO MONEY

get the insurance done b4hand 1st

 

after that meet at lta to do the transfer

rmb bring along ur insurance cert as they will need it

pass him the money after the transfer is done

Question no 2, if the above is not possible, I activate new insurance for KR. then when I sell my rxz, my insurance+road tax wasted ah?

 

1) NCD: You just verbally inform the Insurer to check whether u can get the NCD.. they will check with the previous insurer to verify..

 

2) COM, u can check this at SPF.gov.sg website.. its here.. https://www.psi.gov.sg/NASApp/tmf/TMFServlet?action=PROCESS&gotoPage=DrvLicHome&page=Home you can print it along if u are applicable.. u gotta check.. the discount is in addition of your NCD..

 

3) Diff bike got diff road tax dates and insurance premium. Both insurance and Road tax are not transferable..

 

4) You can claim your unused portion of your insurance from the RXZ insurer.. Just call in and say that you wanna terminate your policy for that particular vehicle and they'll send you a cheque.. depending on the amount left, its usually a percentage of your premium unused.

Np manz.. the insurance refund is not alot actually.. haha.. but still sumthing is better than nothing at all..

 

i love this kr single seater tail board when i chance across it in maju camp.. but of course, ur gf is gg to nag at u for the rides..
