Thinking twice thrice 4 times about the PD trip... What do you do when you feel your bike cannot keep up with the rest? It may not really be about speed... But when you lag behind, the feeling is not nice ah!

dont worry la. there will be a few other 2b bikes. we will definitely cater to both the slower and the faster bikes. just for the 2b bikers, need a bit more endurance, dont be sian so easily, n keep the spirits up all the way!!

i have been warned by my mechanic not to go too far up Msia / drag in 1st n 2nd gears with my bike.... unless i change clutch plates n rear wheel shaft sprocket...

Guys any idea on where I can redo my bike design to its original condition? The paint starting to fade and scratches are getting real ugly. Lol... Some pillions I take keep accidentally scratching the side as they get on my bike...

khalis, if u wanna spray, its more worthwhile to do a different design altogether,... like wad shafi says.. if u want it original, i think its better to get it original from honda

Yes, that's what he means. Since you're spraying back to original colour, might as well get original coverset. $350 is more than enough to get u the original coverset + tank included.

 

Also, new coverset means no more scratch at all. If u spray over it, the scratches are still there beneath it.

Alamak bro, $350 one tone colour expensive. I search around to respray and I can get cheaper. I remember $250-$300 quoted from Republic Motor. Jb one is RM400 but need to leave coverset for a week.

 

So buy new coverset still the better alternative.

For touring wise, is it MUCH better to:

 

1. Use a very good coolant(like engine ice)

2. Use a very good 2T (motul 710 tt cost $22. My standard one is $6 @ LAB)

3. Use a very good engine oil. (expensive brand costing like $20-30.

personally.. i believe that to have a smooth n better touring experience, keeping ur bike in good health n condition all the time is impt...

no point adding most expensive EO to the engine that is already making lots of noises etc..

 

but just to pick on ur three points...

1). coolant - dont bother, just make sure ur current coolant is at acceptable level and just carry a bottle of water...

 

2). nv ride a 2t bike b4... but from here-say, carry extra 2t

 

3). EO... it will be helpful.. if ur bike is known to drink EO, carry extra too...

 

 

so...... in ur case get a super4 better.... hehee..

from exp...2 stroke bikes dun req premium 4T.. normal 7 bucks 4T will do just fine..as long as ur gaskets are not broken and oil isnt leaking den u'll be fine..

 

as for 2T..its not abt the quality of 2T..rather its about the quantity u put in..

 

when going touring with 2 stroke bike..my advice is add more 2T to ur tank...

 

den u dun have to worry abt ur 2T..

But I'm not using premix. Using 2T pump. I plan to put some at tank but dunno how much to put in since already using 2T pump.
