Riding to NUS in 9am peak hour traffic was hair-raising...one whole line of bikes tailing me as I splitlane through the expressway...

 

Also have big problems with cornering the sharp turns that you find at entrance/exit of expressway....jupiter don't have fuel tank to grip with legs...need a lot of practice.

 

That's why if my lesson is any earlier than 10am, I leave the house at 6:30am, beat the traffic, enjoy the cool ride, eat free breakfast at U-town residences (like hotel, free flow toast/ice milo/coffee/teh, but must have a friend who stays in U-town so can scan card) then go clib either nap or catch up on work. Then will never be late for lessons, never risk riding/filtering through heavy traffic and save money on breakfast and ERP.

 

BTW i stay in the east, so I have to leave as early as possible to beat rush hour.

Same bike as mine...Honda Nx4 falcon. Same engine as xr400 (but w/o kickstarter0, but teraboi totally re-did his whole chassis.

On Mondays I'm usually at SDE behind the Macs, and rest of the week I'm usually parked at Deck/LT14 mcycle parking lots, evenings i'll be at SRC. see if anyone can spot me bike!!

haha ya I riding the nc700x. mine is the manual version don't have the auto transmission. haha. it's called DCT, dual clutch technology. something like auto cars, no clutch, it cost like 2-3k more for the DCT model haha

I work part time during my off-day and weekends at a bicycle shop. Pays for the running costs of the bike and my food in sch. And also savings from NS days.

I don't save much a month, but at least it keeps the bank numbers stagnant!

savings + tuitions! and i dont buy new bikes. haha. i only buy used bikes so far. (first owner usually gotta the the main portion of the depreciation!) and try ur best not to take any loans on bikes.

haha, gotta wait and look around online. i got mine when it was about a year old. nc700 came out in 2012.
