If you scroll back a few pages on this forum you will see how the bike was rebuilt from bare skeleton up. This picture is actually the "nearly finished" product"... just need to put on the exhaust and tank can ride off liao... but since its totally rebuilt, need to roadtest before using it...

 

I will be riding it next week.

This was when I got it. Total restoration cost about $3K, not including price of the bike... Only 3 things original are block, exhaust pipe and frame. Actually the exhaust pipe supposed to change to new but totally cannot find replacement (RX115 and RX-K and all the other RX family won't fit...)

think i'll give it a miss cauz actually, my idea of riding to Msia is juz top up fuel and maybe makan somewhere near....

2D/1N Port Dickson Bike Fest

Accomodation at PD World Marina

Date:6th - 7th August 2005

Time:0700hr @ GP Esso (from 2nd Link)

Travelling Speed:140 km/h (but will slow down to 110 km/h if 2B joining)

 

Round Trip Coverage approximately 500km.

 

One petrol stop at Pagoh there and back.

cost 90+ for touring version

and 120 for sporty version with toe sliders and ankle guard

i got this info from the other thread bikes acc and equipment

the title is sigma boots or sumthing ... seems those who bought it gave good reviews and much cheaper than the vertigos and alpinestars and dunno what else la
