Dear fellow bikers,

BE WARNED! This is an actual account story of a SUCKER PUNCH SUZUKI V-STROM rider!!

I would like to warn all bikers of a yellow Suzuki V-Strom rider with an Aria Tour X wearing white T-shirt, black bermudas, gloves and running shoes. My apologies if there is more than 1 rider with this outfit on this particular day, but I am especially referring to this special one. I’m very sure he knows who he is.

This incident happened on a Saturday morning, 7/5/2007 at about 5.30 am along PIE just before the Clementi Ave 6 exit heading towards the city. I first came across this particular rider while riding along Yuan Ching Road when he cut into my lane very closely and dangerously at the bend before Yuan Ching Secondary School. It was funny why he has to do that when I do not think I have angered or pissed him off with my riding, as I was only riding at 60-70km/h alone and the road was clear. Nevertheless, we met at the next red traffic light. As I am in no mood to create trouble in any way in the early morning after a public holiday, I did not confront him, merely just looked at him, turned my head to the front and shake my head twice asking myself why he has to do that.

We both moved off when the light was green to our favour, turning right into Boon Lay Way towards Jurong East. Still, I am in no mood to create trouble and just wanted to let it go, so I let him ride off first and kept on the extreme left lane, just riding within the speed limit of 70km/h (there is a speed camera just after the turn). As I rode along at my own speed, I noticed him stopping by below the overhead bridge at Parc Oasis Condominium, opposite the Chinese Garden MRT station. I rode on and turned left at Jurong Town Hall Road to get into PIE.

At the junction before getting into PIE, I noticed him behind me and moved off with me as the traffic changed to my favour. We both went into PIE heading to the city, I was in no hurry to get home, again, practically keeping to the left lane and riding at 90km/h. All this while, he was always behind me at my blind spot as cars, taxis and other vehicles whizzed by.

Yes, making really sure that the coast was clear, he made a real nice move on me from the rear. I thought he was turned on by my ass or something and wanted to ask for my number, but no, he gave me a swing with his left hand instead. He strucked me, luckily I did not lose my balance and he sped off with lightning speed. The TL1000 engine on the strom is powerful indeed, and does wonderful things to his EGO. He was fast indeed. Oops, nope, his bike was fast indeed…

And I just rode on and live to tell this tale of mine.

To THAT particular rider:

“Bro, I do not know WTF I have done to you that pissed you off in the first place, if only, I should be the one getting pissed for the way you came into my lane from nowhere at a freaking bend (you ought to do that to Rossi bro, I ain’t no Rossi, I have to admit!). Perhaps, my turning and shaking my head at you hit you real hard to your EGO. Nevertheless I thought of giving you half of your EGO back because you dropped it when you swing your left hand at me from the rear. That was one naughty SUCKER PUNCH. Hmm... Maybe you can just live with one half of it. It should be enough for you. Cheers brother!! Long live to your EGO!”

On a more serious note:

Fellow riders, I am not putting down on V-strom or Suzuki riders or owners, it is just another bike to me and you are free to choose your ride, whatever you think suits you. It was not really nice to receive what I have gone through and any other rider in my position would definitely feel the same. Please spread this around and be warned of the SUCKER PUNCH, half an EGO rider. He is dangerous. Thank you.

it's quite funny how vindictive over small things some people get. not to mention the potential danger, e.g. what if he loses his balance and falls while punching our story-teller? and what if both bikes tangle together and crash? hurt others hurt self.

posting this on SBF is good; it forces people to take responsibility for their actions. (kindof similar to the regan lee case, though that's quite a bit more extreme.) i love the internet. :)

btw, posting in "scramblers" is relevant i guess, since the v-strom riders gather here.

yes its a typo error, its on 7/4/07.

call me long winded or a blabber, and know all the roads around that area, if only I am very familiar with that area.

not trying to spam in any way way or post everywhere. i posted where i thought relevant.

call me stupid even, for not getting his no plate. but frankly i just wanted to get home after a night out. wasn't even thinking that he would resort to that. so i posted to warn others.

yes, like I said, Im not putting the blame down on V-strom riders in any way, just this particular fellow that came across my path. Its shitty cos sometimes it can cause a whole lot of problems for other V-strom riders and any other riders for that matter.

If what you said is true, I don't think this is spamming.

This rider should be shame in public for acting like a gangster.

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

He was wearing berms so you said... this LOSER rider got yellow or a brown, black or white legs? At least it helps if we know the race.

We already know the color of the bike is yellow... so.
