Bike shop doing insurance claim in my behalf

Hi all,

 

it is regarding the accident that i met recently at a cross junction at bukit batok st 22...

my bike is now currently at choong kok bukit batok.

they want to charge me 1.2k to repair my fork and change mirror and footrest.

 

yesterday i went to a bike shop which i been told they will do a insurance claim for me.

they will go ahead and repair the bike for me for free.

towing will also be free from cka bb to his friend bike shop.

he told me i don need to pay a single cent for the repairing cost and towing fee.

 

is this for real?

 

as long i don't sign any documentation by them i can go ahead and trust the bike shop right? any one could advise . thanks

it seems like your bike shop 2 forgot to mention a very important matter:

if your claim fails, or only partially succeeds, you'd have to pay the shop for whatever the other motorist's insurer doesn't pay.

 

if you dare to take the chance, at least ask him to give you a proper quote on the repair cost first.

I know the story. The shop inflate the price. Tells you don't worry, they will claim everything. Sounds like a good deal. If they are successful, they got your business with high profits. If they fail to claim some or all, then you have to pay the repair difference. They still have your business and good profits. Either they shop CHOP the insurance company or CHOP you. Do you think insurance will let them CHOP? Then who will get CHOP?

 

Better get a fair quoted repair bill that is reasonable first. Unless they can gurauntee the repair is free by black and white.

 

This is how insurance is expensive.

omg.. today i sign the contract with the shop let them have the authority to take over as me to claim the insurance.

 

hell lots of paper i signed..

did not read them very well too..

just give my trust to them since is recommended by friend and from bbdc instructor call ah sim..

If your case is strong, you get full claim. Too late to worry about it now.

i also sign 2 paper but i think my case is strong.. so i need not worry just get what im suppose to get cos friends intro 1 should be alright ba

my friend intro me too..

mine is at the junction

 

all tp make junction case 50/50 now.

but im going straight.

the taxi come into my path and accident happen.

so got to see ..

 

im so unlucky..
