1)Hi has anyone try a hard break in on an FJR before or is it not adviseable since its shaft driven.

 

2)Then an FJR hit reserve how litres is it left or how many kilometres left before i reach the next petrol station.

Answers:

1. Never tried before but if u ask me personally, shd not be an issue coz break in only involves the RPM used and some little2 things IMO..

Don't think any diff even if its chain or shaft driven.

but those who did hard break in maybe can help with u.

 

2. Fuel on an FJR goes to RESERVED mode when the letter 'F' appear on the digital meter. U will have 5 litres of petrol left and can go approx another 75-80km in average. But try not have the habit of always reaching max reserved mode then want to top up..very bad for the engine as sediments will form in the tank and will rub against ur bearings and shaft perhaps creating irreversible wear and tear..

leo vince. the remus titanium cost around $1900, too ex. dunno the performance between leo vince and remus izit the same. the price for $1300 is for the leo vince aluminium pipe rite?

definately much better then the stock windshield. Wind turbulence cut drastically compared to the stock and a much more silent cockpit. I got the XL.

 

This is strictly my personal rating of the cal-sci windshield based on highway speed in Sgp. Can't say much at touring speed as I do not used the FJR for touring.

helmet buffeting during long distance riding,i'm interested too.

i dun think we can use FZ1 remus on ours since its real short..

But from what i see we might be able to use the Remus Hexacone fitted on the the BMW e.g the BMW R1200 since my fren also riding tis bike.

When i measured the length of the Remus exhaust to ours,its only short of ard 17cm.

but of coz the BMW is using only 1 exhaust.

Whether a full system or endcan can fit our FJR, i wouldn't know.

 

already email an equiry Motoworld but they reply also like ordering stocks, take 2-3 mths then reply me back i think

they told me the price for carbon fibre is $1600+ and titanium is $1700+. i bought from hkl, titanium for $1650. waited for 1 month already, dunno when my pipe will arrive.
