hi, last week monday 16/08/10 i went to kaki bukit unique motorsports to change my RVF stock air filter to knn air filter. right now the bike seems to be taking in too much air and the fuel : air ratio has changed. Do unique motorsports provide a solution for this? is it free or i have to pay a fee to configure the fuel : air ratio

I'm riding a fz6n and i went down to Unique to fix the HEL brakelines.

Work was done by the short slightly plump mech (station 2 from the entrance)

 

No probs with the brake hose, however the prob here lies when the mech took off my bike headlights and flyscreen (why take them off in the 1st plc whreby it has nothing to do with the brake lines? just so work done is easier?

 

upon completion of fixing the brake lines, the mech himself seems to have problems putting back the headlight and the flyscreen, i clearly saw that he was having trouble but when approached all he claims that its a bit tough but he'll able to do it.

 

Aft almost an hr, it was done, and i rode off. This was on a fri abt 2 weeks ago. over the wknd aft dat particular Fri i noticed that there was a constant buzzing sound when i ride and found out that the flyscreen was rubbing against my headlights which caused the sound. obviously it was not properly fixed thus i went back to unique on the following Monday to have it checked.. by the same mech. he tried to tweak the flyscreen and said supposedly it wld solve the prob.

 

True enuf the buzzing went away.. for a day or two and it came back. Worst is that i found out due to the vibrations, the flyscreen has scratched my headlights and that two of the allen key bolts securing the flyscreen was rounded.

 

I managed to take off the flyscreen to realigned and found out actually the mech has mixed the screws (the were two diff lengths) that was used to secure the flyscreen.

 

Obviously this shows the inefficiency of that particular mech that led to several probs.

 

It has been a frustrating and an unpleasant experience. I just had to express this out.
