benson, think u better go install a headlight switch bah, seens u mentioned that u can feel electric problems liao. b4 its too late.

install the switch of cheh san 1. very good. and economic.

 

alternator coil oso called magnetic coil is a coil which consist of 12 coil in total that acts like a dynamo u install in a bicycle that provides electrical charges to ur battery and ur rectifier is act as a restrictor that will only allow 15.1v of charges to ur battery.

 

out of the 12 coils, got 5 and above chao tar only u can change liao.

 

mika go k&t for the rectifier is a good choice.

 

and the what tube that attach to ur engine oil there with a filter si boh?

 

ya like what benson said, ur bike will be cooled very fast after u speed up after traffic jams.

 

but, i always feel some greasy substances at the point where the tube is connected to the engine oil cap.

 

i think what they mean by V4 engine is good in pickup is ( range from the stop to the top speed), we can do better that other inlines model but after we reach our top speed, they will take over us. i think this is what they mean bah.

Anyone got problem switching to nuetral gear b4. Dunnoe wtf happen. Last month change clutch plate then easy to change nuetral gear but now having difficulty changing and oso when changing from 2nd to 1st gear cannot change then got "tuck tuck tuck" sound. Anyone any idea?

think ur engine oil too much or too little.

 

should be too much.

been riding rvf for only 3 months and have a few things to ask

 

1)my temp goes up real fast when for example, jam while going to malaysia,is tat normal?any solution??

 

2)is there a way to make the fans turn on early earlier den the normal timing??

 

3)when move off from a stationary pos, my bike start will vibrate for a while,wat the pro??have changed my font and rear bearing already.

 

4)which tyres is better??gpr70,bt010 bt090??

collected my rvf today. Got one qns, my high/low beam switch, its a SPST switch. The mech said the push buttom switch got burn easily, tats why he change to this switch for me, izzit true? And where do u guys do the headlight on/off switch and install a fan on the rectifier?

1) is normal. just dun over 3/4.

 

2) ask DLM

 

3) it's normal, try to upgrade ur clutch skills. hold a while then slowly let go for 1st gear.

 

tyres? from what u name, gp70 should be better in terms of performance but think max las tfor 9 months?

 

bt010 can last longer than that. and performance wise still no negative comments yet.

 

bt090? comments i got so far is not that good.

my 1 I buy that time, the mech also install the metal switch for me. He say the OEM switch short circuit easily...but then aft 3mths, the metal switch also byebye liao... then I install those plastic type...so far so good..

I noe that if steerin cone too loose,handle bar will shake wid the knockin sounds...

If too tight? that day just tighten my steerin cone n now from stationary, when movin off, the bike swerve left n right in a very slow mode way, when it swirve left, try to counter, the reponse beri slow....so pple behind me will see me do a BIG S machiam figure 8(not so serious la)!!

Just that the handle felt beri stiff. dunno is the overtightenin anot...

for the fan issue can DIY juz go sim lim and get a fan as small as possible and connect it to ur rear light then secure to ur rectifier

anyone noe how much steering cone, wheel bearing cost and oso thnx to the person who posted on how to start bike(kick to gear 1 then push back an fro a few time) cos juz now after work bike can't start but after using this method twice it starts anyway wat problem could it be tat cos the problem anyone can help
