but frankly lah, u go down there huh, u really will think to urself, nb... might as well go mah motor see better.

they just transfer their bike there only.

as for vroomvroom, i m very sorry lah..

next time see u, sure treat u a drink.

ur fuel eat so fast might be due to ur carb not tune properly to original stock tuning.

if not is u drag from gear to gear liao lah.

if not, is ur bike lack of power thus ur bike eat more fuel to got power.

is ur air filter stock air filter for rvf? and tuning is stock tuning too?

mine bike travel abt 170km on 17dol of shell 98.. which means abt 13.45km/l .. wah lau .. machiam class 2 bike but i dun think class 2 bike eat so much fuel. i dun really pull my gear tt much .. at most is 8krpm when i accelerate up rpm, else i normally switch gear at 6krpm ... sibei buay tahan the fuel cost

jus bought the bike and have yet to really do a servicing. mine is fq plate while my fren's is fs. when i buy the bike, the shop told me , the previous owner used it for tracking .. perhaps tt is the cause. will bring down to do a carb service and tuning one of these days. any good shop to recommend?

ken .. will surely have your drink :cheer:

but it's my fault for not checking the forum this morning coz last night u all like very onz still..but lucky u all nv come out .. think half way got rain if not wrong.

(1) the fuel tank is 15l then reserve is 2l so total is 17l or 15l oradi include reserve?

(2) my consumption is at abt 13l for 210km so is abt 16km/l

BTW cheh-san u mean ur consumption calculation is from full tank to reserve can travel abt 220km rite.

no la..... Full Fuel till Reserve 222km. add anotther 33 km on reserve.... thaz 255 KM and then i go shell Pump In till full tank, the pump meter read 13.18 litre..so 255/13.18 = 19.3 Km per litre.

waa!!! yr fren abel's bike so fuel economical ah? thaz like 20 KM/ Litre leh!

My bike At best can manage 19.3 KM/L only..well maybe the reserve can go further but i dun dare to try more 30KM on reserve.

mine usually averages around 220KM +/- 2 or 5 km b4 hit reserve. standard one..no matter how i ride it. if i guai guai can hit 223km la....but never 240 leh!!!!!!!!!

what plate is yr fren's rvf?? coz u know.....the fuel comsumption will increase as a bike/car ages.

so i think 220 still aint bad..heehee....

my ex

RvF can hit 350km for the whole tank.....

and hit 290km for the tank wifout reserve....

ur bike looks hungry......

Guys check this,

I got my bike not too long ago and i went K&T and do a overall check. This dude ( not clifford, but some malaysian slang guy) he took his multimeter and checked my battery connection terminal. It reads around 18volts, which exceeds the +-15volts range. He told me to change my alternator coil ($200+)

But the previous owner told me he changed the batt, alternator coil, rectifier 6months ago at K&T. So what is the problem here?? Help pls.

18 volts is overcharging liao. unplug yr Rectifier connector see got burnt marks or not. IF your rectifeier is those no fins one, take it out see the back got burnt or not. Most often iz the rectifier thaz the root cause.

anyway how he confirm iz yr alternator spoil? got see Burnt marks??coz since yr prev owner changed the alternator 6 months ago,,,unlikely it will fail so fast. THE ONLY items from that list u gave that can spoil 2 or 3 times in a year if u unlucky is the DAMN rectifier!!

im not saying that mech is wrong but

i dun trust that m'sian dude mech anyway..clifford still ok.

Cheh San,

That Malaysian mech at K&T checked out the charging voltage and came to the conclusion that its the alternator. He did not check the rectifier at all. I got a little suspicious after that.

1 for 1 TORQUE movie ah? Though u all went for the event at padang and watched the movie already. Any critics on that particular film?
