Guys,

(4pm)when i was parking my park at e shelter carpark behind crown prince, i notice coolant on e floor.. and its from my bike !! (left side)

panic man... it stop leaking once i off e engine....

 

(9pm) when i went back to collect my bike... floor was dry leh

no sign of coolant , therefore no leaking..

check coolant infront... its full,

after i reach hm.. there isnt any sign of leaking also

 

so wat's e prob?

 

where the coolant leaks from?

infront?

if yes, check the coolant cap. it must be original for ur bike 1. see the rubber on the inner side of the cap is it melted?

did ur bike temp rise to higher than half while travelling at highway?

pay more attention to ur bike noise when ur bike is okie, so when ur bike got problem, u can tell from additional noise or change in sound or volume of sound.

do not travel on ur bike should any point of time u see coolant not enough liao. take a cab go mototiam buy liao then pour in then go mototiam, will damage engine. take note.

engine liao? everything liao. i nearly liao.

and dun mix water with coolant, all purely coolant better.

i always feel tat im dragging too much from 1st gear to 4th gear

e sound abit frightening.... dun feel power too...

u drag till what rpm?

if got reach 7krpm then change in sound is normal cos open valve mah.

if at highway drag till 7krpm, then will no sound.

 

u got ur carb tune liao?

so maybe is ur throttle hose got problem liao.

is it whenever u rev, u feel that the sound is not continuous? like voom............

 

n is like within the voom........... u can hear, ci ci ci ci ci?

 

my bike is recently then like that lah... i m wondering is it this problem.

 

if not the throttle hose, then is the valve maybe too long never clear liao...

for me, i dun care liao, i already spend nearly $3k on this bike which i bought 3 months only liao. sian liao.

as long as it can still go, lack some power dun care liao.

 

i will never buy a 2nd hand thing anymore!~ tulan liao...

doesnt always happen.... and only for e lower gears

den will have those kind of effect... anyway thanks for e advice..

for the squeaking sound may be from ur brake pad, it tends to give out such sound cos the brake pad is always in contact with ur disc plate.

so if is just press brake got sound so nvm. normal.

so was browsing around for more info and came across this page.

 

still trying to read the previous post, stopped at page 11 liao.

anyway, need to ask some things, saw that you pple got haynes manual izzit? photostated or original? can i buy one from you?

 

izzit true that FN no power cut? have not go malaysia yet dare not try in singapore......

 

anyway any advice on wat to do on my bike? wat value clearance abt? juz change did o-ring chain and spocket.....izzit K&N filter adviseable? thks.

There's a difference if u have K&N filter...

pros, performance wise... have to ask dlm.. cos he ride mine and told me there's a difference with original filter..

cons, have to buy K&N filter "water" to wash it..

normal water wouldn't help.. so cost of maintainin it is up

erm...did u noe dat knn filter last u a lifetime? ok..last ur bike a lifetime..haha...

while original u haf to change it after some time..
