i went knt. ride ard 1mth but up-to-date spent 2k alr. this bike really no kid to play with. everyday can eat bread.

My rvf died off after i parked it a while. it seems the battery died.

 

After pushing and stuff, managed to get it on again. but after riding a while later, bike died off again.

 

is this the battery fault or wat?

Could be a fuse problem check the fuse box under ur pillion seat check whether any of them has blown.

Hi,Thx. I checked my bike. its a wiring problem. one part melted so e mechanic helped me linked it back and its working fine now

2nd hand magnetic coil are hard to find as there are too many old bikes looking for it, a new would could around 300+ ....

hey i have some question here. my rvf bike was in idling mode and i over-rev it till red-line and has been some knocking sound ever since and moderate vibration felt on tank, so do anybody know what happen to my bike(pls let me know what is wrong and what the price to fic it too) . and what the price of overhauling ?

full overhaul? 4 digit amount bro!

 

how much vibration? slight vibrations is normal.. maybe need to do valve clearance? go to a bike shop thats comfortable doing rvf... i had a shop put cbr parts on my rvf -.- never going back there

eh as long as you open your engine, it can cost you from 500 to almost 3000...

anyway bro. i thought there's a rev limiter so you cant go past redline?!

what is valve clearance anyway? need to open engine? actually the knocking sound is quite bad, so motorshop say need to open engine which is overhaul

most probably its ur crankshaft injury already..

definately need to open up the engine, the internals are spoilt....

 

i think you better fix it quickly, later other parts get damaged too then you'll be in a world of pain...

 

set aside 3000 dollars? most of my friends who do overhaul on their rvf or cbr spend around that amount maximum? might be much lesser if youre lucky!
