"P" is the position switch. Go Xtreme at Ubi

i have this problem when my bike was runing normal but i use killer switch 2 off the bike after 1 min i start again but it can't start when i press the starter switch it only have the tick tick sound under the seat then i put there around 4 to 5 hour then i push start it still can start after that i did not use killer switch untill yesteday my bro use killer switch again this problem come again so can anyone help me with this problem it batt problem or recfier or the killer switch or other thank

 

this i think is the carbon starter problem.

 

u usually cant start the bike when ur bike is hot.

 

the worst case is ur magnetic coil chao ta liao.

 

it got 12 coil altogether, so maybe is a few chao ta liao, few hundreds u noe?

 

must check it out in a reliable shop.

Huh... u mean when e bike cannot start when hot is due to e magnetic coil chao ta liao izzit?? my bike cold can start v easy but hot must open throttle one leh??

when ur magnatic coil is chao ta, that means that sometimes ur battery is charge, sometimes is not. so in the end, ur battery is going to be drain and when that happens, ur rectifilier will spoil too. dun ask me why, this i oso dun noe. but last time my magnetic coil chao ta, then my rectifilier just change less than 2 months spoil liao.

 

for his case is cannot start bike when hot wor. thats mean carbon starter is spoil. and when he continue to on the electric switch, it is draining a lot of power from the battery and for rvf, headlights n starting bike is the 2 most battery stressing thingy.

 

but if after change carbon starter, bike still cannot start sometimes, then must check rectifilier and battery liao, but if problems still occurs then magnetic coil must check liao.

 

make sure ur headlights is not 60/55. must be 60/35.

 

if not check a dun noe what thing, but it is a device that all electric will flow to 1 then from there distribute to other parts of the bike.

 

this i last time spoil change, dun noe how much leh, but is below $100. but cant remember how much lah. the wire that connect to this device is a plastic plug, mine is melted liao. so change.

 

all this is some factors when bike cannot start.

a knowledge to share with u guys.

 

if next time cannot start bike, straight away dun use electric start immediately. if u use electric start and cannot start but can hear the tick tick sound, thats means battery still got power, is carbon starter spoil. but u dun still press press the electric start more than 3 times. if not ur battery oso can go liao.

 

so now u think must push start liao rite? no need to push start.

 

u on ur bike,

then clutch in,

kick to 2nd gear,

then release clutch,

then push ur bike backwards, then got something stop it 1.

continue to push it backwards for 4 times.

then clutch in n on ur electric start. the bike will start liao.

 

this is very good when u r at bottom of a slope when bike cannot start.

 

but this can only be done when ur carbon starter is spoil.

 

if is battery flat, then u must take out ur handphone n call people to give ur bike a ride to motortiams liao.
