my fren just changed said Michelin Sportec not bad. i think if on budget then go for dunlop gpr70.

 

my current rear is Metzeler...i find very good but is wearing out liao

 

size 160 tires try not to use if u using x-ring...the correct size should be 150.

dude....what works well for a F1 car doesnt neccessary do the same wonders on an bike..which has different requirements in tires specs.

 

do not be base yr decision soley on your motorsports' hero's choice of tires. because lez say for Bridgestone BT010..it only has size 160 and up, so not suiatable for us with x-rings.

i think u a Pilot yea? how do u like yr jets tires when it was on Michelins?? sucky? but on the RVF iz wonderful! so different tires works wonders in different applications......... so be open ....the RVF's 17 inch rims gives us a wide selection of tires.

that time when i did the shims, i still newbie, dun really noe hear the engine sound. but i recommend cheh san to go sporting motor do the shims job b4 but he not doing lah. so i cannot really feel the difference, but after hearing cheh san and my bike, mine is really more quite, so i assume is becos i did the shims thing lor. hehe.

 

sporting motor got only 1 mech and heard he is sent for training at overseas b4. and doing shims there is ard the same price ($100+) at other place too. if u really interested, can pm me.

 

shims is what ah, cheh san told me is consider valve clearance.

 

the rectifier with the fins at K&T is selling at $135.

 

but if u r going to ride this bike for long, doing the valve shims is recommended.

 

afterall, it had a high relationship with ur bike power.

knn filter? pls only change to knn filter when u wanna do factory jetting and pilot jettings.

 

if not u change to knn filter and did not do this 2, ur bike will be more no power.

 

their sound is more low tone izzit?

 

it is their go tong their pipe.

 

but after u tong ur pipe, and ur pipe no longer sound premium, it only devaluve ur pipe what.

 

original pipe cost ard $500 wor. think twice.

hey BengSon! actually it was tong-ed at K&T , the mech keep physco me and without me sayin yea..he went ahead and Tong liao! it just took 10 secs and its FREE.

i think yours is not tong..yours is KUI DOR pipe right?

 

RVF if install yoshi or watever or tong will not sound as Kiat as CBR or other inline-4s. iz like that one.

tyres use BT010 rear 160 is u r not using X-Rings chain.

or gp70 rear 150

 

maybe u try semi synthetic engine oil next time round.

yea man....i envy that FX RVF rider lehz....hez got ALL the stuff i wanted..DOublebubble la, YOSHI pipe la, Single Seater......and SCRATCHLESS, squealy clean white brand new fairings!!!

Tire at Sanfu is ex. I dun recommend... But other then that, everything else is close to perfect...

 

My RVF paintwork oso like new 1!!! cos is respray de....haha. But realli flawless cos that shop spray is experienced n go veri into detail.

 

Sat I'm goin Kulai with my frens, so can follow u guys go liao. But if happen to see me, dun hesitate to come tok cok wid me!! Mine's original paintwork with black color windshield.

cheh san, Shim replacementadjustment is not the same thing as valve clearance. Shim is shim, valve is valve(quoted my mech) not too sure though....
