but lez try to keep the group to a smaller size..... trust me....big bike groups is har dto move around one.....

have u tried BikeLab?? some forum guys went there service thier forks the reviews were quite gd as everything is done in a 'clean room' unlike most motordiams' dirty floor.

 

they even do revalving to improve yr suspension too.

 

price-wise......dunno...have to call.

Wonder if i change to white halogen bulb for my headlight , issit ok cos i heard from pple honda cannot change the bulb .I oso thought of changing x ring chain ,issit recomended ?

anybody know where can get 2nd hand RVF radiator?

if not how much does a brand new costs?

coz my radiator mold that held the radiator cap dented to egg shape already, thus causing coolant to flow out through the overflow pipe whenever my RVF reaches high temp......

yo guys i m back.

after i read all the post which i missed...

 

my idling when start bike in morning can be at 0 rpm, but when start liao must hold for 10 seconds on 500rpm then let go it will be at 0 rpm with bike not dying, but bike very hard to get warm up lah, so stick to at least 1000rpm can lah.

 

pls do not change to halogen white light, unless,

1) u got a headlight switch and do not switch on unless at nite.

2) u unplug a headlight cable so only 1 headlight is light up only.

 

if not, soon ur bike got to change rectifier and battery liao, cos our bike just cant provide sufficient power to support the white light.

 

looks like 150 tyres is very fun, but too bad no money to change.

 

as for the diablo tyre for the radial type, it is $410 which is very durable and sticky as my friend had it for 6months liao but he said still looks like new and very very sticky. but his is at 160 leh, but the magazines u guys read about said is test on 150... er... oso dun noe lah. see how u guys wan it, or is diffeerent diablo?

 

X-ring chain with 160... heard lah is cannot, will rud but all wont noe unless got ppl try b4 and see what they say bah.

 

all like to chiong liao rite. hahaha. very firece ah. but i think u guys while playing with other bikes, ur rpm like a bit too low leh. i think must at least 14krpm for every gear leh. but i think the most we can go is 15krpm although our meter show 16k.

 

and for the thing for reving it like 2B bikes then will feel like front wheel come up is all bikes oso can. dun noe the technical reason for this reaction but by doing this for 1st gear might be abit slow but at 2nd gear, power will be there more than normal 2nd gear.

 

oh ya and 1 thing is that next time when going orchard road while red lights for pedestrains liao but they still walk like their road rite, u can do this and all will stop for u to pass.

hahaha. did that last nite. all tot Xmas can boh chup us riders or drivers rite. then all stopped.

I'll recommend Dunlop gpr70sp

rear 150 for responsive cornerin

rear 160 for stable cornerin

Maybe shld ask Dunlop come out with 155

at first still ok... but found out pick up slow like it is heavy ....

also a bit hard to chup corner....... not long later being to find the side

of the tyre near to the chain becomes uneven as if got rub than here hole

leavine agap than a hole again do ulgy....... change to 150 bt090

can really feel the diff........ better pick-up and better handing.....

guys, RVF FQ plate $9k OTR include insurance, new tyres, new original paintwork and servicing (plug, oil, tuning, etc..) engine condition quite good, sound very smooth. Mileage 60K. Izzit a good buy??

a shop at ubi, didn't notice the shop name cos my fren bring me there one and too eager to find one cos been to 2 other shop before this and i just doubt awhile its already sold... so fast..

kk. But i see quite alot of ppl looking for rvf leh, went to other shop selling FQ rvf at $8.5k OTR with new paintwork + servicing upon collection of bike but the engine sound rough with lots of losse fittings sounds, i'm the 3rd one waiting to test the bike, in the end.. sold.. kaoz..

Better not try. Sure kana caught on the road cos the can sound like no can that loud!!! Almost like a MOTOGP bike!!
