u referring to the front fork i suppose?

the black rubber u referring to is the fork seal~

its a normal wear and tear thing~

oil will seep out, and soon there wun be enuff lubrication, so better go change it soon...

The rubber? is it the dust cover or the fork seal...

Usually the fork seal . u cant see it cause the dust cover, covers it.

Dust cover starts to harden n wear off. thts ok for the the time being..

I think cause no maintains is done to it. thts y it hardens n wear off easily

I noticed the latest SpecII has an additional piece of rubber at the forks, probably to protect from dust while riding. Anyone knows if it's effective?

Any oil leaking? No leak right. Just change the rubber covering one side $25 or cheaper. I changed my vtec2 one pair only $50. Dun need to service the whole thing. Waste money only. U only need to service your fork every 3 to 4 years.:bounce: :thumb:

can briefly describe wad they did?

thx~

Just get the package $325 really handle like a dream.

No changing of spring but is firm enough as ver S can adjust bit of preload so I dont think need a firmer spring and wash every internal parts in front and rear sus.

Told mi my previous dust cover and oil seal change was horrible and inside the fork are 2T. No wonder so soft.

They add a spacer on the rear sus to increase the spring rate and as my rear is leaking. Change new oil seal and pump nitrogen into the rear.

Taking corner no more front skipping as front enough preload. Now brake better as front wont botton up when braking hard. And just changed BT090 high speed very stable and less vibration not to mention better confidance when cornering.

Really wonderful give my old version S a new life and she handle much more better than before.

More confidence mean better control and more safety. I think tires and sus do play a very important part in handling and riding confidence.

Hello, I think maybe U can try to go Ah Boy to buy (Jet-Up_Kit...dunuo wat it realli call). The one Charlie using now. I'll jet ur rear suspension higher abit,so next time U can loban Adrian go up the hump.

or can add spacer.. My rear shocks gone already. I'm 110kg plus pillon, sure hit the max one. So i added a 1/2 inch space and set to the 2nd hardest setting. Not to bad but damping a little gone. Do not get the suspension jack up thing. Spoils the geometry of the bike. Some ppl like it but don't think they realise that it can break. My friend installed on wave... Broke off while riding. Luckily was going slow...
