Hey thr i'm using tht tyre. price wise $320 at HKL. i feel that tyre was awesome. good in wet, dry n cornering. bout lifespan shuld b better than michelin. but also depends on ur way of riding. BT021 r much better than my previous Dunlop blah blah..:thumb:

Bro if u need long distance tire i suggest u get bt021.. It's touring tire yet it has medium compound at the side for occassional cornering.. I've been using it for a few months and it still look brand new.. Good in wet weather too..

No offence but i'm sure bt021 is more lasting den pirelli hr and much more lasting den sportec m1.. sportec m1 and pirelli hr is already quite old technology.. I believe the newer the technology used in making tire, the better the tire.. For example, a race tire 10 years ago might be comparable to our sports tire today.. Juz my opinion..

BT tyre increase price liao about 20-30% more according to our friendly shop at euno.

I just changed to Dunlop Arrowhead for $195, later added wheel cones $15x2 front, wheel cones $15x2 rear, oil seal $15x2 front, oil seal $15x3 rear...

Total damage : $330

Its true its expensive... But y not spent on sumting expensive especially on tyres... One of the most important items of a bike... Am i rite?

Agreed that tyres are the most important part on the bike when banking. But most tyres will be good for everyday use as long as u don't push them hard round the bends. :cheeky:

i am also trying to gather info on tyres.. haha.. considering dunlop alpha 10, michelin pilot sport/ pilot pro..

usage:

tour: unlikely

track: unlikely

wet weather condition: definitely! i ride rain or shine..

budget: not above $380 including workmanship etc..

any recommendations? need the tyre to hang on for my life during wet weather and sandy conditions.. haha..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

Errr... sandy condition u can forget it. No matter how good a tyre, will still not have traction at all. :giddy:
