Diablo Rosso are the best tires I ever put on any of my bikes and I have been riding for over 20 years. I think Pirelli made them out of glue.

I think so too. Once warm up after about 1 min of constant running, it is very sticky. Once a long haul trip, it will really feel like glue when u touch the tyres.

How time flies...

Big is certainly a warning but small can be downright scary! Never underestimate the effectiveness of small.

Hmm sure I don't... So the compound is soft? Which means thread life wears faster? Whats the mileage covered for a pair of Pirelli Diablo HR tyres which you used?

I reckon the compound is medium soft. Last longer than BT090, given the fact than BT090 has even better grip of coz. Diablo gives you good mileage. My friend used his for about 1.5 year before he change to his second set. He is in the despatch line, so i think he travels about 25000km in a year at least. My mileage is low, used for about 5000km now and they still looks new to me which is a year+ now.

No problem, Bro. :cheeky:

Just happened that I have used M1 n Diablo b4, then I can give u my amateur opinion. Just bear in mind the production week & year of the Diablos. :btw: what is special abt the Bridgeport Tyre Valves?

Yup saw those types before... Like DIY like that... The tube bent at 90 degrees can see like gas pipe...

Today went to change one set of Pirelli Diablo HRs at Unique Motorsports... $255... Unable to test yet... Still slippery and was raining all day...

Not enough $$$ to change to the Bridgeport tyre valves... Did other servicing though....

wet road good to test if the tyre grips well on wet or not mah..

Rat bike - A motorcycle not necessarily kept in pristine condition, often painted matt black. Minimal maintenance and mismatched parts often used.

i am not asking him to take corner like gp racer, or do a endo at the traffic light, just riding as like you would do on a wet road situation, you can feel if the tyre grips well. sorry hamtaros4, maybe my england no good ah..

no offense taken fz06.

cheers.

yah i understand wat u mean bro...but some new riders out there might get the wrong idea...buy new tyre then looking at ur post eager to test the tyre so rain time/wet road also try play corner...safety always priority.juz a piece of my tiny winy 2 cents bro...

Btw for those intending to get the Bridgestone BT016...i can only say its :thumb:

first choice would always be alpha-10s... superb!! but wear out quite fast...

2nd would be da M3s... good grip in da wet too...

"at the end of the day, it's still the rider..."
