thanks bro... thought of getting pilot power since on promo and got gd reviews. i have not change the tyres since taking over from previous owner... i also dunno wat he use. so far no problem... hee... but i c the tread like very little... good grip on dry road then when ride on wet road how? any bros got other recomendation?

Just change to Pilot Power in the afternoon... So far so good, have not break-in yet... Will feedback after again 200km....

personally using Pilot Power tyres...

they work well in both dry and wet weather and the lifespan is pretty decent...been using mine for about 8 months and no signs of wear yet...

just got a pair of new pilot power. After riding a couple of days the wax more or less wear off liao. The most sticky tyres i had even used b it in wet or dry. Can corner damn low if u got the balls.

 

Lifespan of the tyre i am still not sure. Till nw 3 days of riding, the wear is still very decent. Thumbs up!!!

 

I had used bridgestone 090, prielli diablo and finally pilot power. Still pilot power the best.

Just follow the specs bro...no point trying to fit a 150 or 180 rear tire on an spec3..

How is the mileage before replacement?

Currently using BT021. At 20000km to 24000km, front wearout, rear still good.

Pirelli Diablo Strada are very similar to the Michelin Pilot Road 2, almost identical in handling, wear rate, and performance.

 

Pirelli recently released the Angel which will replace the Strada in their lineup.

 

I've got the PR2's on at the moment and they are great! I'm going to give the Pirelli Angel's a go next time though just to see how they are.

but u can try ur luck with LAB for Dunlop alpha 10 @ $260. the last time he tell me was that $260 for 3 year old Dunlop alpha 10 rear + front(he get from other shop)

yeah, go ask LAB for BT 90, he qoute me this price(initially was $240 if i din hear correctly) plus fitting + balancing...

not worth buying a pair of 3yrs old tyres.. i believe u can't get this price for 090 anywhere else liaoz.. good price!

whatever it is jus wanna know how to "soften" the front fork cause mine seems abit stiff and im afraid it'll damage my wheel bearings further...

 

usually how much does a pair of front wheel bearing cost anw? my friend shop quote me $40 bucks. okay not?

 

When front fork oil and seal expired, there will be sign of a little shivering on the handle. I happened to ride with one hand and it vibrated...another sign is the fork seal would rusty, probably caused by the fork oil turned into a bit water and evaporated from inside the fork. I ve replaced it recently and noticed that the handle no longer shivering while riding on one hand. The folk oil being poured out was very milky, white and silvery colour substance.

Apart from the symptom of the above, you also may notice that there will be soothing "yi..yi..yi" melody coming from the front when moving off on uneven ground.
