Noisy footbrakes

Hi... my bike makes very loud, irritating squeaky sounds whenever i depress my footbreak... anybody can educate me on this? what should i do?

Hi, for my bike. This happen frequently when it was left in the rain. Is urs a drum brake?

yeah mine too got this sound..using drum brakes...but the sound sometimes have sometimes dont have...

you just change your brake pads?

for drum brakes, dust traps easily in it, so causing lots of sound...

yup..they will bring sound'o'meter and check the level of ur sound..

ifs it ok or jus a bit..he will giv warning..
