Got my ride registered last week. I find the vibrations stronger than my previous NSR150SP. Plus, the bike heats up quite quickly and stays hot through the riding. Hopefully after the first 1,000km, the vibrations will lessen.

The heat could be due to the very high compression at 12.9 : 1.

There were talks about initial batch being recalled in another country. Though dealer declined comment, owners noted there was a change in the radiater fan/area. So there was inference that it had "heaty" issues. Do take care of that in view of SG hot & humid climate paired with slow city riding.

yeap..my mechanic advised me to either change to EVANS coolant or buy an exhaust system for my duke..im gonna try changing coolant first see if the temperature goes down or not..if still hot then will consider getting an aftermarket exhaust..

just sharing, if ur engine overheat main reason is becoze its running lean.

nothing to do with compression ratio, more compression ratio means more energy pushing down the piston (like all sport/racing engine).

i do know india-made bikes r tune extremely lean.

if u can find way to increase 5% more of fuel injected will cool ur engine down.

Basically this beast is very power in pickup. And the temper also quite hot(mean engine is hot thru out) but the bike come with fan to lower the temperature. Recently I saw the in the FB that LTA had approve Zard exhaust for Duke390. I will check out as its state that the exhaust will boost extra 1 to 1.5Hp for the bike.

Just got my 390 recently... Heard about zard too.. Its a slip on though n the price quite steep at about 1.7k... Has anybody installed it yet??
