Hi guys

I was just at the KTM parts shop in UBI, the people there told me that the crash bar for the Duke 200 and Duke 390 is the same. FYI.

The mechanic Mike Goh from Dirtwheel at Tampines said the dimensions are different..

Hi Bro, there are some item may not same between 200 and 390. It may look same, but its differ in mm size. I bring my 390 to fix fuel tank sticker @ 219, in the beginning, me and the 219 guy also assume that it same as 200, but after the sticker was printed out, actually it was quite a small different by mm. So just make sure and i am also wonder the tail tidy was different with both bike, anyone have any idea?

Cheers!

Hey KTM riders,

I'm looking at the 390......checking whether there is avail rack/top box for the bike in S'pore or JB? I know that it may `spoil' the look of the bike but no choice as need place for helmet and other bike accessories.

Thanks Bro, wat rack/box to they carry? Think currently, Hepco and Givi hve the rack for Duke 390?

Don't see much reviews for KTM S'pore leh?? It would be good to see S'pore rider views of the bike. All I get now is reviews mostly from India.

Contributors would be much appreciated :D.

Ergonomics - How comfortable while riding? Good for short and long distance?

Performance - City riding, eg, congestion, easy to maneuver?, performance when in 1st/2nd gear? Highway riding, stability, safety, power?

FC in city and highway riding?

Maintenance - eg, ease and cost?

Pillion - Issues with the pillion seat being small?

Any issues tat make u want to tear ur hair out? Eg, Heating up, hard to start engine when hot, etc?

Sorry bro only rode the bike for 1000 km plus, cant help you much. Fuel mileage should be ard 23-24 km/L. Stability wise, its lighter so its not as stable as compared to s4 at high speed but maneuverability is awesome, like a 2B bike but the power of a 2A bike. Bike does heat up fast but so far neva hit the high temp limit. I ride from wdl to changi and it seems pretty fine but i dont its meant for touring. City riding wise, bike does get a lil bit hot for your legs but did not hit the high temp limit. Pillioning a big size fella would be abit uncomfortable for the fella. Girls fine. Thats all i could say. Only burning issue is the sound the bike produce, its like a 2b bike when its stock.

Thanks bro for your review. Yah, the good of this bike is small but big power :D, thus, good in traffic congestion...but then heat is it's weakness:(. Travelling on S'pore highways should be good as it more than enough power. U're right on touring....may not be ideal. Hmmmm.....mileage seems a bit on the low side though. Looking forward to updates...like servicing costs as u cont'd to enjoy ur ride :D.

So far comfort wise a bit challenge as the seat abit hard.

Performance- Pick up Very good.

NS Highway at 130km Constance engine smooth

Maintenance -Normal servicing(So far did twice) @$90plus (Dirtwheel)

Pillion- not advice as the rear seat are high.

Engine is bit hot but as long the cooler fan working is normal(Europe bike mah!)

Great feedback. Highway riding seems in line with India KTM riders reviews. Seat also in line with India KTm riders' thoughts. I like the service info...u're the 1st one to provide a very useful info. Care to share the breakdown?? I assume it's mainly due to 3 bottles of 0.5 litres synthetic oil? Anything else tat is part of servicing?

How's the handling in congestion? Need to play a lot of clutch...heard the clutch is a bit hard. Power wise, smooth in congestion?

Box and plate..think Ah boy also hve.....only question would be the rack. I know tat GIVI has rack for KTM 200...and Mah motors quoted $195 for it but they don't know whether it will fit the 390. Really appreciate ur feedback on ur ride experience as there isn't much reviews from KTM riders here :)

Quick question. What do you usually check for the first service and roughly how much does it cost?

Hey guy,just for sharing.

I had just changed(DIY) my 390 tail tidy(RM450) and radiator guard(RM200) at QBEE Motor @ JB. Check it out if you are interested! And from the shop, they had lobang to change the Scopion exhaust with LTA approve which they have Spore rep(Motorvation @ UBI) to submit for us. Not sure is it true as I had call LTA to verified and they reply so far for 390,no exhaust brand have registered for it yet.
